It’s been over a week since the opening of A R C H I P E L A G O at the RHA Gallery (@rha.arts ).

This landmark exhibition brings together seventeen Ireland-based photographers shaping contemporary lens-based culture, and it will remain open until 26 October.

Big congratulations to RHA curator Davey Moor and @islandphotographersgroup - a collective of Irish artists committed to expanding the presence and visibility of photography in Ireland and abroad - for bringing this event together.

Throughout the show, we’re in for more inspiring treats: talks, panel discussions, the launch of the exhibition catalogue with an essay by the wonderful @kengrantinfo, and the launch of Island Photographers’ first publication!

Excited to be part of A R C H I P E L A G O, a major group photography exhibition at the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), Dublin opening next Thursday, September 11th. Curated by Davey Moor in collaboration with @islandphotographers, our collective of Irish artists committed to expanding the presence and visibility of photography in Ireland and abroad. The catalogue Essay is by the wonderful @kengrantinfo
My work, Unfolding in Simple Eternities, will be shown as part of the exhibition. The series began with the experience of childbirth and expands outward to explore how patterns of resonance and memory repeat across scale from the tremor of a cell dividing to the orbit of a star. It listens to how the body, the sea, and the cosmos keep time with one another, part of the unbroken cycles of life and the universe.
Really thrilled to show this work alongside fellow members of Island Photographers and such a strong constellation of voices. Pictured: amazing rha technicians Stefan and Leon
