To my one of a kind Valentine. Katherine, have loved me, cared for me, been my biggest cheerleader, cried with me, laughed with me, and sometimes even at me 🤣, but most of all you have given me hope for the magical life we will build together. You are a filled with a unique capacity to see others as Heavenly Father sees them. You always remind me of our purpose here on this earth and you keep me grounded. I am eternally thankful that I will soon never be without you. I am thankful for your sincerity. I am thankful for your generosity. I am thankful for your charity in times when I don’t deserve it. You are as they say, “the best of us”. The truly flawless diamond that I do not deserve and could never afford. You are not only my valentine but my future eternal companion and love. Words will never be adequate in describing my love for you. You are the one my soul truly loves. Happy Valentine’s Day!

It’s been hard to figure out how to address what is happening in our country. It’s been hard to find the words to express all of the different emotions I feel. It’s even been hard deciding if i want to address it at all. So here it goes. If there is one thing I’ve learned in my journey of finding joy through the Savior it’s what I say over and over. God is interested in YOU! I truly believe that I have found the peace I have by realizing this simple statement. So how does that apply to this situation? Simple. God loves ALL of His children. He cares for each of us as his literal children on this earth. Before we belonged to our parents we belonged to Him, and as such we are all brother and sisters. God wants each of us to remember that. He desires that each of us practice that. Right now we see so much sadness in our world and so much division. We see so much hate and so much retaliation. This is what I challenge each of us to do today including myself, stay away from blaming each other and start uplifting each other. Condemn evil in whatever form it takes and begin to build a new world. A world based on love. A world based on peace. A world where we truly live by the statement that all are created equal in the sight of God. We might live in a fallen world but WE CAN DO BETTER!! WE HAVE TO DO BETTER! God is counting on each and every one of us to carry each other across the finish line. Our loving Heavenly Father wants each of us to use our eyes to see. To see love. To see potential. To see beyond our circumstances. We can all be one! What if we refrained from commenting hateful words on social media? What if we refrained from thinking hateful thoughts towards others. What if instead we stood for a world where ALL of Heavenly Father’s children thrived. Let’s choose today to change. Let’s choose today to become better. Let’s choose today to see others as our Heavenly Father does. Let’s choose to remember that when we say, God is interested in YOU, we mean EVERYONE! Full Post: www.brianstevenking.com
