POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

When we dreamt up this vision alongside @sweetblossomweddings x @dionnehesley_ x @europavillageweddings this is BETTER than we thought it could become. Dionne and I sat down to Pinterest our concept and came up with something interactive in an Italian Masquerade meets Phantom of the Opera theme.

The thing about us as a bridal shop is our background is from the wedding world (Alex as a wedding photographer, Sabrina as someone who used to help with proposal set-ups!). We see beyond the lace and the satin; we truly see your vision for the day unfolding in our minds.

Thank you to everyone who brought our Italian Masquerade meets Phantom of the Opera vibe to life for the Annual Europa Wedding Showcase!

@foreveryoursbydianascott we ADORE you — thank you for creating the perfect reel to sum up our visions.

@sophiasavagephoto thank you x a million for the vibey photos that clearly captured what we worked so hard on.

@danideadly13 honorary mention for going above and beyond, lending us your beautiful opera voice on top of modeling!

& the talented crew below for every ounce of creativity poured into this.

They warned me ahead of time.

“We are ready to PARTY.”

And listen… they did not disappoint.

The second cocktail hour rolled into reception, it was game on. The bridal party entered like they were auditioning for a music video. Nick was hyping everyone up. Michaela was glowing. At one point I’m pretty sure someone yelled, “This is the best wedding ever,” and honestly… they weren’t wrong.

There was zero hesitation for the cake cutting. No polite, tiny bites. Just laughter, frosting, and that look between them that says, “We survived wedding planning. We can survive anything.”

The dance floor stayed packed. Country songs. Throwbacks. Arms around shoulders. Guests screaming lyrics like they were front row at a Luke Combs concert… which honestly feels full circle considering Nick planned that concert weekend only months into dating Michaela like a man already thinking marriage.

But my favorite part of the whole night?

When everything got quiet.

After the hugs. After the sparkler prep. After the last group photo.

The room cleared and it was just them in the middle of the reception space. No cheering crowd, DJ voice or any distractions.

Their private last dance.

Michaela rested her head on his chest and they swayed slowly, like they were trying to bottle up the day and tuck it somewhere safe. You could see it on their faces… this mix of joy and relief and “we actually did it.”

From their very first brunch date with a three-hour wait, to Montana snow and a surprise family celebration…all the way to a packed dance floor and one quiet, steady moment at the end.

This is what it looks like when two people truly love doing life together.

Big moments. Small pauses. Loud celebration. Soft gratitude.

Always together.

Because we love and adore you,
Xoxo

If you want to know Michaela and Nick, you have to understand this…

Their wedding day wasn’t just about them. It was about everyone who shaped them.

Michaela got ready in a robe made from her soon-to-be mother-in-law’s wedding dress. She carried a purse created from her own mom’s gown. Generations stitched into every seam. Legacy wrapped around her before she ever stepped into her dress.

First looks unfolded like chapters in a book.

Her bridesmaids.
Her dad.
Her two brothers.

And then Nick.

The kind of first look where he has to wipe his eyes before he can even speak. The kind that reminds you that love isn’t casual, it’s breathtakingly beautiful.

Their ceremony was exactly what they intended it to be: meaningful, heartfelt, full of gratitude.

Grandmothers reading.
Family warming the rings.
Each immediate family member holding those bands that would soon symbolize forever.
A quiet moment where Michaela and Nick turned and looked at every guest… pausing to take in the people who showed up to love them.

And then one of the most tender moments of the entire night.

Michaela honoring her unsung hero…her mom.

She placed her bouquet into her mother’s hands and invited her to share a special dance. Then she invited every mom and daughter to join them on the floor.

Tears were flowing everywhere.

These are the kind of moments that future grandchildren will hold one day and say, “This is what true love looks like.”

And we weren’t even done yet.

Alex and Leanna’s August wedding at the Swanner House in San Juan Capistrano was the kind of day that felt both timeless and easy from start to finish🍊🌼🍃🤍

Settled in the hills of SJC, this historic home is surrounded by wide lawns, mature trees, and classic white architecture that photographs beautifully in every season. The natural light here is especially good, soft and warm through the afternoon and golden at sunset, which makes the entire space feel calm and inviting.

The day moved seamlessly from getting ready inside the house, to a garden ceremony under the trees, to an outdoor reception as the sun went down. There’s something special about celebrating in a place that feels full of history while still open and spacious enough to host everyone you love.

The Swanner House comfortably accommodates larger guest counts while still offering that romantic, garden setting so many couples are drawn to.

I shared more from their wedding, along with favorite photo locations and planning tips for this San Juan Capistrano venue, on the blog.
