A safe place for ALL youth ages 10-22 for safe shelter, basic needs, and healthy relationships.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On July 2nd, 2026, The Graves Foundation and 30 of our grantee partners gathered in community at the Voices for Racial Justice (@voices4rj) space for the second Momentum convening of 2026.

Momentum provides grantees the opportunity to connect with other non-profits, navigate shared obstacles, and celebrate wins.

At our first gathering of 2026, held in March, Frances Roen of Fundraising Sol (@solfullfundraising) helped our grantee partners identify fundraising priorities and create a roadmap through the 30th of June.

For this gathering, Fundraising Sol returned to check-in with the grantees, reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and create a new fundraising structure for the second half of the year. Sidekick for Good also facilitated an intensive workshop focusing on fundraising and donor relationships.

Momentum Convenings are an integral part of the support that the Graves Foundation offers its grantee partners to support beyond grant dollars. After each session, we ask our grantees for feedback and how we can better support capacity building in the future!

Let us know in the comments what you learned and what you would love to see more of in 2027!

There are 6,000+ unaccompanied youth experiencing homelessness in Minnesota every night - including nights that reach subzero temperatures.

The Bridge for Youth centers youth voice, justice, and equity in all they do, and empowers youth experiencing homelessness through safe shelter, basic needs, and healthy relationships.

Help me use running my first marathon to make a difference in a young person’s life. Every donation motivates me to work harder for them.

We hope you’ll join us at Twin Cities Pride this weekend and write notes of encouragement to LGBTQIA2S+ youth facing homelessness! For every note you write, our church donates $1 (and all the notes!) to The Bridge for Youth, a local shelter supporting the youth.

Find us at Booth 29 in the Purple Zone (by the food trucks) at the southwest corner of Loring Park!

And Happy Pride 🌈

Because of your support and belief in our mission, 2025 was an extraordinary year of impact for the BeLikeTommy Project. 🫶

In a time when so many young people are navigating exclusion, anxiety, and isolation, our community showed up to create something powerful: joy, belonging, and meaningful connection.

What started as a movement to carry forward Tommy’s legacy continues to grow, reaching more youth and families than ever before and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

The votes are in! Each year, employees get to vote on where we support our community and how we spend some of our corporate donations. This year, 10 organizations were chosen to receive $10,000 each for a total of $100,000. We look forward to the impact we’re able to make in partnership with these local nonprofits.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Mind Matters: Mental Health and Wellness Fair. The event brought together students, staff, and community partners for important conversations about well‑being, stress management, and the many resources available both on and off campus.

Life can feel fast and overwhelming, especially during the semester, and it is important to remember that no one has to navigate those challenges alone. Support is available, whether you need someone to talk to, tools to manage stress, or connections to community services. Reaching out is a sign of strength, and the campus community is here to help.

If you were unable to attend, we encourage you to explore the mental health and wellness resources offered throughout the year. Taking even one small step toward caring for yourself can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you to our partners! We couldn’t do this without you.

We are honored to support The Bridge for Youth, a longtime program grantee whose work continues to change — and often save — young lives.

World Childhood Foundation USA has proudly supported Bridge for Youth’s efforts to respond to sexual exploitation among youth experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota. Through their mobile intervention program, outreach workers meet young people where they are — on the streets and in shelters — offering a critical lifeline of trust, care, and protection to homeless, runaway, and sexually exploited youth.

By providing a continuum of basic needs services, Bridge for Youth helps disrupt the cycle of sexual exploitation and empowers young people to move toward greater safety, housing stability, and self-sufficiency.

We are thankful for the dedicated staff and outreach workers who show up every day with compassion, courage, and an unwavering commitment to protecting children and youth. Together, we are helping create pathways to safety and hope.
