bridgegood.com/inspirationawards | SEVEN YEARS LATER. THE INSPIRATION AWARDS ARE BACK!

And we’re taking this celebration 61 floors above San Francisco!

On Friday, December 11, BRIDGEGOOD’s 11th Annual Inspiration Awards returns at Salesforce Tower, with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Bay Area, incredible people, live music, and a community we’ve missed celebrating with.

We’re honoring Dr. Lee Lambert and Dana Cho of Pinterest, with TWO more special honorees to be announced!

Emmy Award-winning Frank Somerville / @franksomerville1 will host, Bay Area R&B artist @nettabrielle returns to the stage, and you’ll have a chance to meet select former Inspiration Awards honorees.

For us, this comeback is especially meaningful. The 61st floor of Salesforce Tower was our beloved Wilson Tai’s dream for the next Inspiration Awards. Seven years later, we’re finally making it happen.

And we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

This year’s celebration supports THE FUTURE FUND, our $500,000 campaign to keep BRIDGEGOOD’s Oakland studio thriving through 2028, providing students and job seekers with tuition-free design and technology training, mentorship, and opportunities to build their futures.

To our longtime friends and supporters, we can’t wait to see you again. And to everyone discovering BRIDGEGOOD for the first time, we’d love to welcome you!

DECEMBER 11, 2026 | 5:30 to 8 PM
Salesforce Tower, 61st Floor, San Francisco

Tickets: $150
Sponsorships start at $2,500

Who knew design thinking could show up where we least expect it?! ✈️✨
While traveling through the Bay area, our Managing Director, Alyce McNeil, discovered an organization called BridgeGood at the Oakland airport.

Established in Oakland in 2009, BridgeGood has already made an impact for thousands of learners. And in four short years...by 2020... their goal is to reach 50,000 total learners nationwide. They’re doing it with programs like a UX Design apprenticeship ... similar to our GID Lab internship. Here students get to work projects for real clients, get coaching and feedback. They walk away with definitive resume experience that opens doors.

Led by artists, educators, volunteers and others, BridgeGood believes “design can change lives when equitable access, representation, cultural identity and belonging come first.”

Inspirational!! We love seeing design thinking in action!!😊

I’m so freaking proud of what we built!!! ☀️

Meet Solace, an app designed to help those with chronic illnesses that cause brain fog (like POTS) communicate what they need during flare days. ❤️

Our team had 3 months to build an app that would make a difference and we nailed it. We had just 3 months to research, design, wireframe, and prototype a full app and we cannot wait to polish it up and get it in the App Store/google play store!!! 🙌

Here’s to my incredible team:
-Kim Jiang (User Research) @gigles12345 @thetinycrafthouse24
-Mika Phillips (User Interface) @monster.doggo
-Jessica Alcantar (Wirerame and Prototype) @jessicaalcantar97

Can’t wait to keep building this out and see where Solace can go!

Shoutout to BRIDEGOOD for this incredible opportunity. 🙏 (@bridgegoodcom @bridgegoodorg @shaun_tai)

THIS is what three months of commitment looks like... Purpose to Pixels Product Showcase was wildly inspiring. Watching our apprentices walk on that stage and OWN it, after everything they pushed through to get there, was one of the most emotional nights we’ve had at BRIDGEGOOD.

These are people who came in nervous, unsure, still finding their voice. And on August 14, they stood up in front of a full room and presented products they built from the ground up, with so much confidence it gave us chills.

We watched people who used to freeze up at public speaking take the mic like they were born for it. We watched frustration turn into breakthroughs. We watched teammates step up and become leaders right in front of us. It was everything.

Because that’s the whole point of BRIDGEGOOD. We’re not just teaching design skills, we’re building the kind of space where you can mess up, figure it out, grow, and come out the other side more confident than you’ve ever been.

To every apprentice who showed up for themselves these past three months: we are so unbelievably proud of you. This is only the beginning.

And to the staff, board, and volunteers who make this whole thing possible, thank you for believing in these apprentices as much as we do.

Their purpose became ideas. Their ideas became pixels. Those pixels became possibilities.

Want to be part of what’s next? A $25 or $50 donation goes directly toward keeping this kind of life changing experience free for the next cohort. Link in bio or Venmo @BRIDGEGOOD.
