Happy 3rd Birthday to the coolest guy I know. For the first photo, Rory literally led me by the hand to this place and told me to take his picture. Kid knows how to find the business end of the lens.

These last two weeks in LA threw some serious curveballs. 😮‍💨
But how good is it having friends and fam who always have time and space and endless cuddles for me. I feel so loved. And my abs are poppin’ even more from all the laughter. There is no place like home. 🫶🏻🦋

A bit ago I made a post about how I’d like to have everyone who ever visits to have a place on our wall. It’s an idea I’ve had for years, going back to our rural Malibu days when we lived a trek away. But when friends did make the trek I found they’d always happen to sit right below my wall of most treasureds. I’d watch them talk about the date they went on or a movie they saw and quietly admire the little shrine of “I love all this” they’d unknowingly completed, by just sitting there.

So here’s a new series coming to you from me: Look Who’s on the Couch. 🛋️

My first subject is our beloved Britt. One of my favorite things about Britt is her bright-eyed approach to life. She has this soft but sure tenacity that is so unique it sounds almost contradictory. She’s bright, bushy-tailed, but gentle and calm. She’s realistic in her reactions but optimistic in her expectations and hopes. She’s a dreamer who’s alright with you showing up just as you are because she will dream it enough for you both. In writing this an image comes to mind of one of those dark storybook forest paths that inevitably have to be traveled. The paths that in real life we travel all the time with much less fantasy and mood lighting. Knowing Britt is traveling those and thinking you’re alone only to turn and realize she’s been there, quiet but sure and walking right alongside you since the since the start. She wouldn’t rush you to notice or ever draw anything like self-admiring attention. She would just be, and always is, there. There’s been many a spooky path of my own I’ve seen her, whist in my corner, knowing and lighthearted. Pointing out the patterns of the cobwebs in a way that makes me notice that the sun actually does shine on them quite nicely after all. It’s so natural to her you wonder if she even knows she does it. She’ll show up for you when it doesn’t even make sense and remind you just in how she is that every day is a new one. I asked her for this series, what she was most proud of in herself this week. She said for pushing past fears and doubts. It’s always the most fearless who say things like that, and she’s no different. We all just love when Britt’s on the couch ♥️

Picture this as your closet every day—the overwhelm, the frustration, the struggle to find what you need. Now, imagine hiring a team of professional organizers and, within a few hours, walking back into an organized, functional space. The floor is clear and everything has a place.

Messes happen, life gets busy —but you don’t have to tackle it alone. Our team can come in and transform your space for you.

This was all done in one organizing session and is phase one for the space.

Shoutout to Brittany @brisky, one of our awesome assistant organizers, for her help and brilliance on this project.
