oh to be dancing again. a huge part of this year for me has been the coming back to a passion for dance that was put aside for a little while. the rekindling of this fire has been sweet, subtle, and truly cathartic, stepping back into the realm of dance with a fresh perspective of seeking joyful movement over precision and perfection. it’s come back slowly in the play of acroyoga, the fostering of meaningful relationships with likeminded women, and the continued practice of loving myself and my body just as i am.

to my bali kula, thank you for dancing with me — for embracing the laughter, tears, shake outs, water ceremonies, wiggles and the choreography of the moment. again, no words really describe what unfolds in a retreat, but i’ll keep trying anyway.

to my @taeyas.life + @_journey.media thank you for capturing our precious week on the retreat ( and me unfiltered dancing in the middle of teaching ), for choreographing dances with me in our air bnb, and for being the best travel companion for an entire month!

in deepest gratitude ✨

moments from our first few balinese days. purified, nurtured, connected. uncovering the kind of love you’d go to the ends of the earth for — and simply being reminded that it lives within.

all captures by the beautiful @_journey.media + @taeyas.life
