your sign to build the program you wish you had!! @kuleanacoral

2026 marked the 4th year of COAST, a dive and coral restoration program enabled by federal funding back in 2023 (IRA and BIL!!). the goal was simple: build the builders of reef restoration in hawai’i 🪸

each summer I spent teaching this course with my colleagues was memorable in a different way, because each cohort was made up of incredible individuals that made the course uniquely theirs. I’m so incredibly proud of the 2026 cohort, and can’t wait to see whats next for them!!! if it’s anything like previous years, we will be collaborating as colleagues in no time ✨🪸

Mahalo to everyone at @kuleanacoral for dedicating so much time this summer to train, educate, and mentor us. I had the time of my life and met the most amazing people. You guys are the best! 🩵🪸🐠

⚠️NOTE: Please do NOT touch any live coral without obtaining a permit! Special permits are required for handling coral in Hawai’i [SAP 2027-26]

To top everything off, I also completed Kuleana Coral Restoration's COAST Program! I had a blast learning more about coral restoration, becoming rescue dive certified, and getting to know a bunch of amazing people! Mahalo piha @kuleanacoral for hosting such an impactful program, and I am truly grateful to have been part of their fourth and final (for now) cohort. Wishing the KCR staff and my fellow COASTies (ers) the best with what lies ahead!

A simple premise: Monsieur Aliotti’s favourite chosen twin-fin enthusiasts from around the world to compete along the infamous beaches of Southwest France.

Over the course of an 8 day waiting period our team followed the crew on day strikes across the Spanish border, attended art shows, got pushed around at music concerts and drunk at film premieres...

Our take on the ‘Deuxième Édition’ of @william_aliotti’s @the_twinfin_invitational 🍸 Full video now spinning on site.
