🎉 Wonderful Update: Dougles Got a Second Chance at Life! 🩵🎉

Dougles, one of the kindest souls at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. He waited so long on the urgent list, nearly out of time - but Sweet Angel Dog Rescue saved him JUST IN TIME and gave him the chance to live the life he deserves! 🐾💙

Dougles was immediately taken to Sherman Oaks Veterinary Clinic, where he received a full bloodwork panel 🩺💉He also has a fractured tooth and will be going to Kinder 4 Rescue for much needed dental care. 🦷✨

🎉RESCUED BY SWEET ANGEL DOG RESCUE 🎉❤️ Please Honor your Pledges to the Rescue🙏🏼 Freedom video PINNED🐕🐾🎉❤️🚨URGENT: SQUISHY NEEDS A LIFELINE BY WEDNESDAY, 7/2 🚨

Squishy is just a baby, and her time is running out 💔
She Urgently needs a Rescue, Foster, Pledges, or Adopter to save her life!

Please help us get her to safety! Pledges attract Rescue and a Foster gives her a safe place to land. A Forever Home? That would be the greatest gift of all. 🙏🏼
Please Comment your pledge below, every amount is appreciated!

💗 Meet Squishy ( #A5698271 )
This stunning 7 month old Pitbull puppy is as sweet as her name. She has a soft charcoal gray coat, mesmerizing pale green eyes, and the cutest pink patch on her boopable little snoot.
🐾 At around 45 lbs and still growing, she’s a squishy land seal with big puppy paws and an even bigger heart.
💔 Sadly, this baby is terrified at the shelter. It’s loud, scary, and overwhelming. But we’ve seen her light up when she’s near her brother, Socks (#A5698275). She clearly feels safest with a confident dog around and would thrive in a calm, patient home; ideally with a fur sibling or someone ready to invest in training and love!

💗 Squishy is:
	•	Just 7 months old
	•	Spayed female
	•	Up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives
	•	Available for immediate adoption
	•	Came in as a stray on 5/9/25 with her brother
	•	Ready to blossom with the right person by her side

Let’s get this scared baby out of the shelter and into loving arms!

#repost @friendsofnorthcentralshelter After being available for less than a week, Max has been scheduled to lose his life. He will be euthanized if no one comes for him by Saturday, June 14th.

Max is just 2 years old but his life is now at risk of suddenly being cut short. He was allegedly brought in after someone found him tied outside a building and although they only had Max for a couple days, they said many positive things about him. They said he got along with his children and dogs, is crate-trained, and just overall friendly and well-behaved.

Sadly, he’s been alerted for “unsafe” behavior. He was understandably scared upon intake but playgroup staff have noted that he was very tolerant of being handled and volunteers have said many positive things about him, including just how loving he is.

Whether or not he was actually found will remain a mystery, but what matters now is that Max finds an adopter or foster before his deadline of EOD Saturday, June 14th.

It’s heartbreaking that this is the reality of the current shelter system. I feel both saddened and angered but it’s an unbeatable battle and the only thing we can do is fight for the dogs that deserve a chance when they weren’t given one.

We can’t let him slip through the cracks. Please help save Max before it’s too late 🚨
