Super excited to visit @brittandmars in their physical location! Good news, I didn't buy out all their rad stuff, so you can visit too and not be disappointed!

Local artists doing rad art is more important than ever, and glad I could make it, even if it means braving Salem in October

Where am I walkin’? I mean, I really was hoping to grab a coffee on my way to WHERE I WAS WALKIN’ to…but the Salem crowds deterred me and I had to perform my LIFE without caffeine. Tragic.

But those who know me, will also know EXACTLY where I was walkin’. I’m, of course, walkin’ to the Ames Hall theater on Essex St. In Salem, MA to make SCARY things happen in The Woman In Black.

Ticket info in my bio. GET WALKIN’!

Fire codes and theater magic. The things we do to stay safe while telling a good story. A peek behind the curtain showing you a small but important detail in the illusion design of the show. It’s a small thing but you need a match to light a lamp, right?

This neat little do-dad helps create the illusion of lighting a match on stage. Crafted by our illusion designer @evannorthrup for our production of The Woman in Black at Ames Hall on Essex St. in Salem, MA.

Links in my bio and all that.

Dry leaves on dry brick sidewalks are even more slippery than wet leaves on wet brick sidewalks. Salem is old and we have beautiful, but sometimes treacherous, brick sidewalks. Stay safe on our trip.

And while you’re staying safe, come see our spooky and wild ghost play, The Woman In Black, at Ames Hall on Essex St. You can’t join in the fun if you fall on your face the second you arrive in town.

It’s a big weekend for cat events! 😻🎉 Both @catconworldwide and @cpcatconvention are happening in Catifornia and Mew Jersey respectively on Caturday & Sunday! Have you ever been to a cat event before? They are kind of like drinking from a fire hose when it comes to cat culture— they tend to have an overwhelming amount of information and resources for both cats & cat people! The events have been popular in recent times— there might even be one happening near you! Salem Cat Museum’s founder even ran one called @witchcitykitty in 2019, 2022 and 2024 — it’ll be back in 2027 in a slightly different form (more later). We wish we could attend @cpcatconvention and @catconworldwide this year, but alas Salem is a little busy right meow 🎃🤪 In the meantime here’s a list of all the businesses and artists that are attending this weekend’s events that have worked with Salem Cat Museum (sorry if we missed you, turns out there’s a lot 🙏🏻🙀)

We had such a fun day today! The weather cooperated before this big storm is supposed to hit, so we packed our day and put in a lot of steps, too. Here are just a few highlights from our Salem adventures. (I’ll have to make about six of these kind of reels to show you everything we did just today lol) but here you go. Enjoy! 🧙✨
