Witches never die, but birthdays never stop. Can’t say I mind cause my friends are the best and i loved every minute of the festivities this year. Cheers to more fun memories and feeling like Nicole 😉✨🐈‍⬛🪄

And on a more serious note, a friend asked me what the last decade taught me, and it got me thinking. So here’s my top 10... and a few extra:

1. Just do it. Perfectionism kills momentum and something is better than nothing.
2. Everyone has a good story. You just have to ask the right questions and care enough to listen.
3. Happiness > money. Always.
4. Don’t force friendships. The right people don’t need convincing.
5. Keep loving people, but maintain your boundaries.
6. I still don’t like fruit, and that’s okay. Stay a little weird.
7. Community isn’t found, it’s built.
8. Don’t take things so personally. When people get upset, it’s usually a projection of unhappiness in their own lives.
9. Break out of your comfort zone every once in a while to try something new. That’s where the growth is - personally and professionally.
10. Leave people better than you found them. Things come and go, but how you make people feel lasts a lifetime.
11. Ask for help when you need it. It’s a strength, not a weakness.
12. My Mimi was right, sunscreen is the key to anti-aging.
13. Food and music make the world go round, and sharing them IS a love language.

Participating in such a fun festival with literally all of my favorite people from around the country (and meeting so many of my new favorite people from around the country)? Well, that’s just one giant perk.

We had the best time partnering with @oystersouth_ and @brittannywith2ns for a special Virginia oyster experience for the Landlocked Virginia Oyster Tour raffle winners!

Brittanny kicked off the day with a Virginia-inspired meal, followed by an oyster tour and a Matheson Oyster taste test to finish off the day.

And now we’re officially ONE month away from Landlocked! We can’t wait!🌊🥳

How it feels when you turn any oyster into an oyster shooter ✨🦪🥃

🌿✨ What a week it's been! Kicked things off Monday night by whipping up a delicious salmon dinner using goodies straight from my garden – basil and mint blended into whipped cottage cheese, topped with a vibrant tomato and bell peppers salsa.

Tuesday night, I treated myself and Printz, my pup, to a delightful evening at @barbuoyrva for happy hour – it was the perfect artsy vibe!

Come Wednesday, Printz and I joined @christa_in_scrubs, @thereyouar , and their fur-buddies for the BARK Ranger program at @vastateparks Pocahontas State Park. We all had an absolute blast exploring together!

Wrapped up the evening with a comforting meal using the cutest pretzel-shaped pasta from @espressochailatte Virginia, paired with a rich beer cheese sauce, schnitzel, and rotkohl.

Feeling grateful for good food, great company, and wonderful adventures! 💚🐾
