An afternoon well spent. 👗♻️💜

Had so much fun seeing new and familiar faces while giving back to an amazing cause with @handtohandhungerproject. Together, we donated over 30 bags of clothing, keeping them out of landfills and into the hands of those who need them.

Always love seeing the community come together like this. Thank you to everyone who came through!

Join us at the next Community Threads clothing swap! DM me for the invite link. Also, Linktree in my bio for more info.

What if music is our liberation?

The path to our authentic selves,
the strengthening of our courage to serve with our gifts,
the way into the most harmonious and well nourished version of our lives?

I’m so struck by the transformative power of song writing and channeling in my life and the lives of those I work with.

No more books, no more certifications. The voice is literally the living embodiment of “you have everything you need in order to give your unique gifts to the world and thrive”.

Join me this Saturday to deepen into the transformative power of the voice and learn the methodology that has allowed me to develop, deepen and transform through my song channel for the past 6 years.

Registration is in my bio

Feeling so grateful and inspired after the RegenEra Interdependence Summit 🌿💧✨

What a beautiful reminder of what we can co-create when we gather around a shared vision.
As an artist, I’m deeply grateful for the spaces that invite experimentation, where we can risk sharing something before it’s fully formed, trusting that it will reveal itself through the process.

This weekend I shared an iteration of a prayerformance I’ve been experimenting/working on for the past few years. If I’m honest, still doesn’t feel “ready.” But I’m realizing more and more that this is often how the magic happens; a vision comes alive each time we offer it our attention, each time we have the courage to share it, receive feedback, and let it evolve.

And having these 4 incredible sisters say yes to joining me at the last minute was such a gift. Watching the music become embodied through their movement & expressions is a dream come true.

Thank you to everyone who witnessed, danced, encouraged, and reminded me that art isn’t meant to be perfected in isolation, it’s meant to be lived, shared, and shaped in community 💜

Political power is shaped by the stories, voices, and will of the American people, and art has a unique ability to bring those truths to life. It inspires people to see through new lenses, to care, to act, and to vote.
We’re excited to introduce the DC Democracy Mural, a large-scale, nonpartisan public artwork in Washington, DC, created by artist and U.S. Army veteran @essam_attia and produced by @juliajayes on behalf of LocalDemocracyAction.org.
With your donation, we can bring this mural to life. Help us reshape the visual language of our streets by donating now: bit.ly/DCMural
Rising in the historic Le Droit Park neighborhood, where tens of thousands of people pass every day, the mural will feature FDR’s powerful reminder that the ultimate rulers of our democracy are the voters.
As we close out the year, we’re raising tax-deductible donations to fund materials, equipment, and artist labor through our fiscal sponsor, People For the American Way Foundation @peoplefortruth
