Family IVF update : no update ⁣
⁣
🤣 .... as with so many important things in life ... wait and then wait some more.⁣
⁣
Good news though, in my life, God has ALWAYS used the waiting time to grow, challenge, and teach me. 🖤⁣
⁣
To catch you up to speed if you’re new new around here : we have frozen embryos in Virginia where we used to live as a military family. We now live in Florida.⁣
⁣
I was totally ignorant to the approval process when asking a new fertility clinic to transfer miracle embryos that grew up in a different clinic 🙊⁣
⁣
.... oh and then slow that whole process down to SLUG SPEED 🐌 because of COVID.⁣
⁣
I got a call today from the clinic & I was actually bracing myself for the potential news of the risk management team denying the request to transport from VA to FL.⁣
⁣
Are you still with me? 😅⁣
⁣
Turns out : they were just calling because they needed more bloodwork 💉 ... but this time from Loren.⁣
⁣
Anyway, I like to be open about all of this - & that is the update.⁣
⁣
Plan B : is to go to Virginia [where the embryos already are] for another embryo transfer. But I’d rather not leave Roux. I wasn’t released from my fertility specialist with Roux until I was like 8 or 10 weeks pregnant, so I’m not sure how that would go?⁣
⁣
Always down to hear you’re experiences if you’ve done this craziness 😜⁣
⁣
Thank you so much, though, for all the love and support always.⁣
⁣
This fall mini beach shoot though .... amiright?!⁣ 🤩 @_raisingroyalty 📷

I just shared it in my stories : the message that is in my inbox daily.⁣
⁣
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 + 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲⁣
⁣
Because, I’ve found they actually do go together. Without one - the other isn’t as good or sustainable.⁣
⁣
I’ve built my business from the ground up over the last [almost] 8 years. My business has gone through many seasons of life. And the CRITICAL piece for me to maintain FAMILY priority while also satisfying my desire to work hard & ..... well.... work as an entrepreneur - is 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲.⁣
⁣
My ambition cannot ever replace the requirement for DISCIPLINE in order to honor my God-given role as wife + mama. But routine : gives me the space to be the ME that I want to be.⁣
⁣
I just published my updated version of morning + evening routine because I know for me : the most powerful influence on me finding my own rhythm in routine - was reading what worked well for others.⁣
⁣
As a starting point.⁣
⁣
Then, make sure you stay connected to the FACT that your routine has to work for YOU. So it’s good to be a little different. ✌🏻⁣
⁣
Hope it helps you!⁣
⁣
Also on the blog while you’re there: Halloween matchy matchy. 👻

We’re all adjusting after saying bye to Disney! 👋🏼⁣
⁣
I’m going to save the stories from our visit to a highlight so that you can check them out anytime you want.⁣
⁣
As a continuation to the questions I missed this weekend about our Disney trip experiencing all the new health and safety protocols…⁣

✖️ Having a three-year-old and a mask for the entire day in 96° Florida summer weather - it’s not for the faint of heart. Every kid is different but mine did absolutely fine. My biggest tip would be too obviously make sure they stay super hydrated, try to make sure the mask that they wear is very light material and breathable, and take advantage of any of the rest areas as needed to give them a break.⁣
⁣
Just remember though once they’re on an actual ride or inside the line for the ride it’s usually air-conditioned or will circulated with fans.⁣
⁣
✖️ The longest line we waited on for a ride was 30 minutes for Mine Train. Everything else was either 15 minutes or less or walk on. No fast passes. Lines weaving guests in close proximity have installed tall plexi glass barriers. And ground markers like I showed you in my stories - spacing out where to stand.⁣
⁣
✖️ Masks are required outside as well as inside.⁣
⁣
✖️ The parking lot is so empty the walk to the park is so short. It took us just a few minutes to get from our car to the gates. And it took us just a couple minutes to get from monorail to main gate to inside the park.⁣
⁣
✖️ They close down The rides every 30 minutes for a 10 minute wipe down cleaning session.⁣
⁣
✖️ They are strictly monitoring mask wear. And guests are checked to be sure that their masks are approved before getting into the park. The masks have to have loops. It cannot just be a simple bandana covering your nose and mouth.⁣
⁣
✖️ All of my masks are linked and tagged on my blog. The link is in my bio.⁣
⁣
Thanks for all the love & glad you got a peek at what it’s like now!⁣

Did I miss any Q’s? ✨🌈

👉🏼 swipe for my fav toddler fashion finds. I just did a fun “𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸-𝘁𝗼-𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹” 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗽 on the blog!⁣
⁣
Whether back to school means actual school or just updating for the next season/size I’m sharing all my recent favs.⁣
⁣
🛒 𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗔 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗜𝗣𝗦:⁣
⁣
• find a few brands you love⁣
• find high end + budget friendly brands to search⁣
• buy a size up on some things⁣
• shop mid-year so babe can wear sizes up + down⁣
• pants too long - cuff ‘em⁣
• shorts too long - roll ‘em⁣
⁣
It’s no secret - the boy’s toddler style department just isn’t at the same level as the little girlies. I set out early to find fav styles that weren’t just superhero’s and monkeys.⁣
⁣
Yes - my fav pieces are mostly on the higher priced end, but I get two or even 2.5 years out of everything! I’m not replacing stuff ALL the time. Now that we don’t have real seasons in FL, he’s getting even more use out of everything.⁣
⁣
$25 for a toddler shirt! [gasp!]⁣
.... oh - it lasts 2 years instead of buying an $8 shirt 4X a year.... 👏🏼⁣
⁣
Also: I love the budget finds too & some can really last! Just don’t be afraid to invest in quality stuff too if you can!⁣
⁣
I tagged everything for you in my blog [link in stories] & I tagged all kinds of alternatives. I’m letting you in on my secrets for your little beau & hope it helps!⁣
⁣
PS: sending you love + so much encouragement as a mama navigating all these other decisions - I hope this gives you one less thing to have to research 🖤⁣

[i am finished!] 21 days of following my vegan detox cleanse and I am so thankful I followed through.

Listen, I didn’t want to do it. But I knew I needed to. ▪️I was self sabotaging myself with bad snack habits.
▪️I’ve spent 5 straight years living in a surplus of hormones between infertility medications, IVF, pregnancy, followed by almost 1,000 days of breastfeeding.
▪️I was sleeping less & my energy felt drained.
▪️I needed to snap out of some of these bad habits by committing to a full out detox. ... and so I did! ▪️▪️12.5lbs lost & feeling A-MA-ZING!▪️▪️ I knew there would be a lot of cooking involved, there may be things I didn’t like, I had to time all of my supplements, and I’d be saying no to a lot of my favorite treats + meals. But, it is ALL a part of the journey! And I’ve learned so much about how my body responds to different foods again!

You just don’t know how GOOD you can feel - until you give your body a chance to do so! ... + that personal SATISFACTION of completing these 21 days is legit. ✌🏻 Yea, this is a challenging program - but only because it takes a commitment to moving past the comfort you may find in food & deal with whatever life is bringing you in other healthier ways. The meal prep + experimenting with new foods is all a part of the process - and one you may be surprised you actually enjoy!

I logged all my food in my DETOX highlight + will be sharing more in my stories today. You’ll be able to swipe up to learn more about this.

I highly suggest a full body tune up at least ONCE a year. Especially for anyone dealing with weight frustrations or hormone changes!

Thanks so much from the bottom of my 🖤 for all the love and support!

DROP AN EMOJI 🦄 IF YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS DETOX! [go learn more in my stories]
