Wow, it’s the final day of 2020.

I don’t normally think about new year as much as I have been this morning. It passes and goes like every other day, but with the year being the year it’s been... I think we are all looking forward to the hope that the number 2021 will bring!

Despite the lows this year there have also been some highs and I like to focus on the highs moving forward!

So this year I have

1️⃣ completed ‘Silence’, she is cast is Portland stone jesmonite and sculpted back in feb 2020

2️⃣ Completed ‘Konstantinos’ originally sculpting in Athens in 2019 with @robertbodem . Final finish cold cast Bronze

3️⃣ Created an artist edition of 3 of my sculpture ‘Breeze’. All there have homes to go to in 2021!

4️⃣ Was a spokes person for @ual_incubator giving advice to other artists and students about what to look out for in life after graduating

5️⃣ created the STAY HOME SCULPTING KIT, I’m so proud of the community of students I have and I love seeing there sculpture develop. I have students all across the world and they bring me such joy!

6️⃣ Made several new fantastic friends this year but special shout out to @sternenglimmer , an incredible woman!

7️⃣ MOVED STUDIOS (and house) to London! Sharing with my two best friends and talented artists @sam.daw.ood and George Dixon

8️⃣ started working for @nickhornbyartist , a true inspiration and guide and I can not wait to continue working for him in 2021, continuously inspired and motivated by you ✨

9️⃣ hired the amazing @clarajherzog who has been invaluable this year helping create mine and @sam.daw.ood work in the studio. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you

🔟 Hired @brittwalkerart another amazing lady who has helped me inside and outside the studio. I am so grateful for your hard work.

I wish you all a very happy new year, see you on the other side 🥂

‘Unnatural Selection’ explores an imagined future shopping experience through which customers can enhance their body’s potential by buying adaptive hybrid wearables. Initially inspired by the readings of: Cultures of Technological Embodiment (Featherstone, 1996) and Feminism, Popular Culture and the Posthuman Body (Toffoletti, 2007), I became interested in the possible options available to change the human form in the future.
