An evening on the roof terrace, where wine, food and conversation came together in LILA.

In collaboration with Brix Wine Club and Hayward, guests were invited to explore a considered selection of wines, each paired with dishes created to complement the character of every pour.

Brix Wine Club brings people together through a shared appreciation of wine, creating opportunities to discover new bottles, meet like-minded people and enjoy wine in good company.

Hayward explored wellbeing through connection, considering the ways shared experiences, conversation and community can enrich our everyday lives.

A memorable evening of thoughtful pairings, good conversation and beautiful wines.

Yep, just another Thursday dinnertime in the Langhe. A huge shout out to Dec Jones of @brixcl_b and the incomparable @moremacine for yet another memorable evening! Who brought the posh beer...?

On Thursday 14th May we are teaming up with our mates from @brixcl_b to host a dinner showcasing Italy’s exciting next generation of winemakers. Six courses with generously poured matched wines and some beautiful produce; Spring lamb, cuttlefish, sea bass and Cornish crab.

By way of introduction Brix is a London based wine club and importer working with family owned estates across Piedmont, Tuscany and Friuli.

Their focus is specifically the next generation of growers in Barolo and Barbaresco who are redefining their crus with precision, lower intervention and incredible terroir clarity.

Tickets are £110 and there is a link to the full menu and booking diary in our bio.

What a day. 26 miles in Medoc through countless amazing and historical wineries and little bit of running when there was nothing to eat or drink. Oysters were fresh and chateau lafite rothschild was great but water and beer at the end of an truly hot day were winners☀️

Nå presser vi druene!!

Her er episode 6 i serien «hvordan lage vin».

🇬🇧 Champagne Rousseaux-Batteux (RM)- Verzenay
Parte Two:
🍾LES CHAUFFOURS Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs 2019 100% Pinot Noir - 2 ha Verzenay 45 year old vines. Vinified with the “coeur de cuvée” technique (in Champagne, the coeur de cuvée is the “heart” of the first pressing which contains the highest quality juice) in oak barrels, aged for 48 months on the yeasts before disgorgement - 0 g/l sugar - 500bt

🥂 Golden dress with delicate and fine bubbles make up a creamy and inviting foam. Ripe yellow exotic fruit is the protagonist of the olfactory bouquet composed of soft notes of quince, chalk, broom and marjoram. In the mouth it is ample and structured, creaminess and perlage are the perfect combination of the enveloping path that meets the savory and fresh vein, ready to harmonize the material juice that stretches for many seconds. Great drinkability is the soul of this Grand Cru

💛 EMOTION: 8.2

🍾 Champagne Louvois Grand Cru “LE MONT” (opened a few minutes earlier) 100% Pinot Noir. Vinified with the “coeur de cuvèe” technique - 3 years in oak barrels - 2-3 g/l sugar - 600bt

🥂 The creaminess of the perlage and its foam gives brilliance to the antique gold dress which gives inviting scents of pastry, icing sugar, lemon custard, a yellow rose peeks out; but it is upon tasting that lemon cream, amaretto, lemon and candied ginger triumph again, a succession of harmony and pleasure. Material and full of emotions.

💛 EMOTION: 8.0
