@hereldn X @bacchus_catering from the SD. I also had the pleasure of attending the evening, very cool to experience the final result and wear something other than clothing marked by stems and sap 🥀

A deep plum palette anchored the brief from Bacchus, minimal, sexy and intentionally restrained with instinctive creative freedom at its core. The lead focus being single variety statements, shifting attention beyond the flower head and to the structure and power of an elongated stem. Sculptural and deliberate, each stem was moulded into an otherworldly form. We love to blur the lines of nature and art, thank you for your service humble Calla Lily.

WSET LEVEL 2: Eight week course

Mondays 6-8pm over eight weeks, from September 15th

Do you want to take your wine knowledge to the next level?

WSET’s Level 2 Award in Wines is a beginner- to intermediate-level qualification.

You’ll learn about: the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce.

Through a combination of (fun!) tasting and (interesting!) theory, you’ll explore factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.

Classes are taught by Union member and wine educator Richard Household of @bromptonwine. Class sizes are kept small which means the courses are intimate and personal and there’s opportunity to get to know your fellow students...

The cost of the course – which includes all of your wines, study materials and examination – is £540 per person.

DM for info or book on the website!

Bordeaux Month is coming up - and wines like this banging white are just the ticket. Incredible wines, superb value for money too - this and our whole range from @vignoblesandrelurton are well worth space on any merchant’s shelf.
