rely on the power of the Lord to use your giftings, bc work is only fruitful if you depend fully. He knows you, and He knows who He is calling you to be. trust the gardener, even when He makes cuts you don’t like. God isn’t asking for perfection, but for trust, surrender and obedience. there is no hope outside of Christ.

How the Lord works has me in continuous awe. Going into this past week, I was nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. I was the only one from my school, but the Lord knew exactly where I needed to be. My huddle was only eight girls, and although we barely knew each other, we bonded almost instantly. That wasn’t by accident, it was the Lord, and He blessed us with the sweetest huddle leader, Brooke.

This week reminded me that we don’t have to prove ourselves to God, we never could. Through Christ, we are already proven, and now we get to bear fruit for God’s glory (John 15:8).

Two quotes from camp have stayed with me: “The testimony that comes out of your trial can be the syllabus someone else needs to navigate theirs.” And, “Have you left enough spiritual fingerprints that there would be enough evidence to convict you of being a disciple of Christ?” Those words challenged me to continue to live a life that points others to Jesus and to make disciples who make disciples, even when the world tell us to do otherwise.

Thank you, FCA and Black Mountain YMCA, for an unforgettable week. I’m so thankful for the friendships, the lessons, the memories, and all the hills that gave me enough cardio to last a month. And of course… I can’t forget about the bears. 🐻😂

All glory to the Father. 🙌🏽🤍
