Seven years ago, Kollective was an idea.

Six years ago, I decided to act on it.

Since then, it’s challenged me, stretched me, humbled me and become some of the most rewarding work of my professional life.

What started as an idea has grown into something bigger than I ever could’ve built alone because of the people who believed in it, poured into it and helped shape what Kollective has become.

Nashville is special. The team being built there is special. And seeing this vision begin to grow into something bigger than one city is something I’ve thought about for a long time.

Grateful for what we’ve built. Even more excited for where we’re going.

The story is just getting started.

14 years ago today, Shakti opened its doors to share the practice of yoga that changed our lives.

Our mission has always been for everyone to feel seen, welcomed, and connected to their most powerful and peaceful self through their practice.

We are so grateful for this community and the 14 years of support for a local sister-owned business. Times haven’t always been easy, but you showed up and you shined, and that’s why we’re still here today on Music Row in our big beautiful house✨

And a big, heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff and team. You are the heart of this place, and you keep Shakti shining every single day. 💛
We love you all and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
