A question I get asked a lot by other designers: how do you feel CONFIDENT presenting?
Honestly, the best kind of confidence comes from truly studying the space. I spend lotsss of time exploring every floor plan, building the entire space in a real 3D SketchUp model, and getting to know exactly how my clients live and what they need. So every decision is made for that home and that family, not pulled from a trend.
By the time I walk in, I know exactly why every single selection is there. That’s how I help my clients build CONFIDENTLY!

Homes & Gardens asked me how many lamps a living room really needs 🤍

Honestly? There’s no magic number.. But I always start with three layers:

- One main overhead chandelier
- One hardwired wall lamp
- At least one table or floor lamp

Then I tuck a lil’ lamp somewhere unexpected… a bookshelf, built-ins, a cozy window nook. Those little pockets of light are what make a room feel lived-in.
Where’s the coziest lamp in your house?!

From floor plan to final install 🤍

Good design doesn’t just happen by accident. Every project we take on is an intentional, detailed process, and each layout, finish and fixture comes from careful planning and lotssss of thoughtful decisions. Swipe through to see how our projects come together, step by step!

From your floor plan, we’ll begin to draw up your space in 3D to see what works & what doesn’t. This is where we can really start to see what we’re working with!

As we build in 3D, we’re making design decisions! Material selection, lighting, plumbing, furnishings, all the things.

We are able to make preliminary visualizations of the space and different options we’ve explored.

After revisions, we’ll make a final rendering of the final selections.

We’ll provide dimensioned elevations for contractors and subcontractors to make sure every detail doesn’t go unnoticed.

We work with contractors and subcontractors to make sure the vision is coming to life!

Lastly, final completion! Includes installation of furnishings and decor. Where the “fun” happens! (It’s really all fun)

Watching it go from lines on a page to a home is my favorite part. Thank you to all my wonderful clients for trusting me with it!

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this kitchen… So many little details that came together just as I had hoped. Especially that hood! 🤎

Monday morning & baaaack at it! ☕️

I’ve always been particularly fond of Mondays.. Something about a fresh week, a full calendar & getting back into the swing of things. Although, I wouldn’t mind spending the morning catching up on emails in this little office!

A walk-in vegetable cooler might not be on your kitchen wish list… YET! Not only does it help keep produce fresher for longer, but it frees up valuable refrigerator space and makes entertaining (or simply stocking up for the week!) that much easier.

A lil’ luxury that brings a whole lotta functionality to everyday living.

Would you incorporate one into your dream kitchen?!

One of my favorite things about designing smaller spaces is the opportunity to be a little more adventurous with materials. Rich colors, interesting textures, and thoughtful details can make even the smallest room feel incredibly special!

A little moody, a little traditional, and fullllll of character. 🤎

What better space to share on Game Day than this golf sim + hangout room made for watching the game?! ⛳️🏈

One of my favorite color combinations… dark stained wood & a blue tone. (And you already know I love a good striped textile) The squiggle mirror adds soooo much fun to this powder bathroom!

I recently read something that referred to draperies as the “eyebrows” of a room… and I really can’t unhear it! Nor disagree with it. Ask yourself, how would you feel without eyebrows?! lol

The. List. Goes. On. & on!!! Between interior design & motherhood - don’t ask me what’s for dinner 😂

What else are we adding to this?!
