Whelp…2021 was the craziest year of my life, as it was for *a lot* of people.
~•~
The first 6 months of 2021 were spent separated from Max because of COVID🥲We got engaged in March & started planning a wedding. After planning I had a big surgery in May with 6 weeks of recovery. FINALLY Max could travel to me in June (One of the most emotionally relieving moments of my life) Because of COVID Max’s family couldn’t attend the wedding in person but we still streamed the wedding over zoom so they were able to “join” & both our dads had a part which was beyond special❣️A couple weeks later I ended up with stress-induced shingles…at 23 💀 but we caught it early so I luckily escaped the worst of it. Come August, Max & I took off across the pond so I could finally meet his parents in person💞We were gone for the entire month of August which was the longest I’d been away from home but Max kept me busy so that was a huge help❤️We returned to Florida for a couple months & did our best to soak up moments with my parents & friends for that time period before leaving again. Max’s travel VISA ran out in October so we had to head back to the Netherlands. Because of the sensitivity of Max’s greencard application we knew we wouldn’t be able to go back to the states until his greencard was approved. Which can take anywhere from 6 months - 2 years. So, leaving my family in November was very, very difficult & still is❤️‍🩹Next adventure came in December when my travel VISA for Netherlands ran out so Max & I packed up & headed out again to England for a few days where our spiritual family took care of us amidst the crazy😌& then we made a very long journey overnight to Ireland where we’re at currently 😅😮‍💨

This all being said, Max & I are really trying to view our life as one big temporary adventure😂Jehovah has taken SUCH great care of us by means of the brotherhood, there’s been many MANY tears of gratitude🙏If last year taught me anything it is that through stress, loss of family & friends, instability, burnouts, uncertainty, and intense homesickness…Jehovah will *always* be there to guide you by the hand. Always ❤️ So, on that note…

~Hello 2022 ✨🌻🪐 plz be nice 🥲

Happy 28th Anniversary to my beautiful parents!!! ❤️ I thought I’d share some favorite photos from over the years, I love seeing how our family has grown 🥰

On another note…this is the first time in my life I haven’t been at home with you both for your anniversary, so I have quite some homesick/bittersweet feelings. But I wish you both the best and I look forward to seeing you in February when you come to visit. I can’t wait to give you both big big hugs and talk to you in person. I love you mom and dad so much 🥺🥲❤️❤️❤️
