We had a pretty sunrise, good chats as per usual, and took some cutie photos of each other. I love being able to get outside with friends and enjoy the beautiful mountains we are so lucky to be close to! 😍

Unlike other conifers, larch trees are deciduous, and their needles turn gold and drop every autumn. It only lasts a few weeks (usually late September into early October) so timing is everything.

When I saw a post about the #tdtreedays event, I knew this was something I wanted to do. So I booked spots for my kiddos and I—and it ended up being at one of our favourite places, @kerrywoodnaturecentre . 🌱

I’ve been taking my kids here since I moved to AB 8 years ago, and they still enjoy it!

When we arrived at the planting site, the kids got a little nervous. There was a pretty good turnout, and at first it felt a bit intimidating. But we followed through, and by the end, they all agreed they had fun. ❤️

Doing something like this is important to me because I want my kids to know nature, care for the environment, respect wildlife, and understand the importance of giving back to their community.

It’s little experiences like this that I hope stick with them long after the day is over. 🌲

This is why we love seeing your little explorers in the gear we get to put into the world. 💜 Thank you for sharing these with us @brookewillson and inspiring us to take our toddlers on some incredible camping and backpacking adventures this summer.

When we created our sleeping bag with Morrison Outdoors, the colour was intentional. Purple represents mental health and a reminder of just how much getting outside, finding community and sharing adventures together can matter.

When I say location matters, this is what I mean!

Cochrane is sooo close to some of the best outdoor recreation this country has to offer, always good to spend some time enjoying it.

Thanks @brookewillson for the push to try this wild challenge. 4 Mountains, 1 Day, Running between each of them that starts and ends in town. 57km and over 5000m of vertical gain. Wild!

And yes, I did make a few phone calls while descending Grotto Mountain!

Before there was Matt, Crew and Camp there was them. Through the highs and lows, breakups and late nights, backcountry trips and matching tattoos, my girlfriends. Through the eras of our lives, I’m so happy that we’ve stuck together. Even when life gets busy and pulls us in other directions, knowing you can always count on them is such a beautiful thing. I’m so blessed to call these girls (and ones not pictured) my friends. Still smiling from this weekend but the final wedding countdown is on! Thank you for taking time out of your lives, away from your babies and fur babies, to celebrate my happiest era! Love you

A little mama & daughter getaway to @sunshinevillage to check out the wildflowers 🌷🌻🌼

We had such a great weekend up there, we had gorgeous views from our rooms, we ate yummy food, played fun yard games, ate s’mores, rode the chairlift up twice to Sunshine Meadows to maximize the flower viewing, and more! You can betttt that we are making this an annual thing 🙌🏻 it was the perfect weekend with the girlies.
