Arrived at Hearst Plaza in the rain earlier this week to find my piano still uncovered. I’m grateful to have been able to snap a few pix and so honored that Artbeat is a part of this program. The @singforhope pianos (and many more creative experiences) are available today at Julliard Outdoor PLAZAWORK 2026!

Art you can see, music you can share! 🎹🎨

@singforhope public play brings artist-designed pianos to @lincolncenter , inviting everyone to take a seat and be part of the music. We’re especially proud that our Art on the Ave artist @katefauvell has a piano in the mix! Be sure to check out hers and explore the beautiful work of the other participating artists. ❤️

The celebration continues tomorrow, Saturday, September 19, with Juilliard’s PLAZAWORK 2026—a free outdoor performance featuring Sing for Hope Pianos!

25 years ago, our Co-Founders Monica Yunus and Camille Zamora were Juilliard students when they gathered classmates to sing across from Lincoln Center, bringing solace and healing to a grieving city through the simple power of the arts. Now, that mission returns home.

In partnership with @juilliardschool and @lincolncenter, six artist-designed Sing for Hope Pianos are live on Hearst Plaza through Sept 20th for public open play and a special presentation of Juilliard’s PLAZAWORK 2026 on Saturday, Sept 19th at 11 AM.

Free and open to everyone. Pull up a bench, share a moment of connection, and check the link in bio for full details. 🎹✨

I’ve always LOVED the vivid lyrics of “Drops of Jupiter,” but I also adore dreamy, sweeping jazz chords, so I had the idea to introduce it to “Misty.” They got along famously, and “Drops of Misty” was born! 🌌I’m SO GLAD to be “back in the atmosphere” of New York with the brilliant @noisesbymichael & @gttjosgar , making music on this gorgeous @singforhope piano in the sunshine & fresh air 🌿🌞🎹🦋what a joy to create with dear friends out in the world!! 🥹🌏 truly the blessing of my life!!! #nycmusic #singersongwriter #dropsofjupiter #fypシ #cover

Playing this Sing For Hope piano today got people singing, dancing, and smiling. 🎹😊 Seeing those smiles was the best part—and to me, that's absolutely priceless. ❤️
