This post is to raise awareness about the dangers that might be lurking closer than you may ever realise or could comprehend.
Sadly, what was innocent for me turned into a weird situation and someone that I wouldn’t have thought posed any threat at all sharing my details and information with other men on a national lads group chat.
The whole situation had been flabbergasted made me question my own, my friend and 1 millions of other womens safety that may be blissfully unaware that this is silently happening to them.
We know that there have been international g4ng$ involving MILLIONS of MEN that have dr-g-d and 🍇d women and now the recent news about a certain 7, it just highlights how common this is. We need to call it out we need to raise awareness just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s okay. It will never be okay and it needs to change! It makes you feel uncomfortable then you need to have a real good chat with yourself as you could be part of the problem.

@officialnoreenkhan can vouch for me when I discuss those weird ways you may get approached in those DM’s!

For anyone that’s been doing anything like this please know that I see you, I believe you and you’re not alone 🤍✨

The stats don’t lie and the numbers keep rising.

Behind every statistic is a person. A woman. A man. A couple. A family.

Someone in YOUR family. YOUR friendship group. YOUR community could be silently struggling with infertility, fertility treatment, pregnancy loss or the emotional impact that comes with it.

And they may never tell you.

For many people, especially within communities where fertility can still feel like a taboo subject, speaking openly can feel incredibly difficult.

That’s why awareness matters.

We need to create BETTER, SAFER and more understanding communities where people can talk about fertility without shame, judgement or unwanted opinions.

Where asking for help isn’t weakness.
Where male fertility is talked about too.
Where pregnancy loss isn’t swept under the carpet.
Where someone doesn’t have to pretend they’re okay.

Let’s break the cycle of silence. 🤍

Start the conversation.
Share what you learn.
Check in with someone you love.
And please remember — you never know what someone may be carrying behind closed doors.

“Not all men” is exactly why this keeps getting worse.

Tag a guy who actually calls it out when his friends cross the line.
This part matters:
If the jokes are demeaning, say something.
If the comments are sexist, don’t laugh and move on.
If your mates keep normalizing it, challenge it in the moment.
Because silence doesn’t make it harmless.
If men are the ones creating the problem, men have to be part of fixing it too.
That’s the conversation.

This conversation mattered. ❤️

For our **South Asian Heritage Month Men’s Forum** on @hear.me.now.podcast we made a conscious decision to invite three South Asian men we genuinely admire.

Not because they’re perfect.
But because they’re prepared to speak up.

As a South Asian woman, I know how proud I am of our culture, our values, our families and our communities. But I also know that, like every community, there are conversations we still need to have. Violence against women and girls, misogyny, mental health and harmful attitudes cannot remain topics we shy away from.

That’s why Tandy, Ajit and Aman were the right people for this conversation.

We see their integrity, their compassion.
We see their willingness to listen, learn and use their platforms for good.

We need more men who are prepared to challenge harmful behaviours, encourage healthier conversations, and show young boys that strength is found in empathy, accountability and respect.

Ending violence against women and girls isn’t women’s work alone. It requires all of us.

Thank you for reminding us that allyship isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about having the courage to be part of the change.

This is the masculinity we want our young people to see.
This is the leadership we need more of.
This is how change begins.

Balancing independence and living with family

Gurkirat Singh (23), a GurSikh from Dharmgarh village, who had travelled to Worcester, England to study and work, has tragically died in circumstances that have raised serious questions within his family, friends, and the wider community. The news has left his village and loved ones in deep mourning.

The community is asking why this case has received so little media attention. Any sudden or unexplained death deserves a thorough, transparent, and impartial investigation.

While police have indicated that they are treating the death as suicide, many of those who knew Gurkirat Singh describe him as a Chardi Kalaa Gursikh and say they struggle to reconcile that conclusion with the person they knew. These are concerns being expressed by those closest to him, and they deserve to be heard with respect.

At a time when emotions are understandably high, it is important that all the facts are established through a full and comprehensive investigation. Transparency is essential to maintaining public confidence, and if there are any unanswered questions, they must be addressed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Gurkirat Singh’s family and friends. They deserve truth, and if any wrongdoing is found, those responsible must be held accountable.

If anyone has credible information relating to this case, it should be shared with the investigating authorities.
