Short story submissions for Starlite Pulp Review 9 are open, and the response thus far has been amazing. Go to the Submissions page on our site, and the Submittable link there.

Horror, Crime, Adventure, Noir, Sci Fi, Westerns, Sci Fi Noir, Western Horror, Twilight Zone-esque—think Black Mask mixed with Tales From The Crypt splashed with Black Mirror. Amy of it, or all of it.

So hey, submissions for Starlite Pulp Review open up in about 2 weeks. So whatever you’re working on, dot those i’s and cross your t’s, as the submissions manager will be taking pulp shorts soon enough. Sci Fi, Crime, Horror, Westerns, vampires, things that go bump in the night, poker game robberies, chip implants, mermaids, surveillance states, gunfights, femme fatales, getaway drivers, and anything else y’all can think up.

July is probably the best writing month of the year here, as the new issue is in the can (so to speak), submissions don’t start for a month, so a long exhale is in order, followed by work on a new Sonny story for an anthology coming up (more on that in the coming months…), as well as the follow-up to the Western novella Days of Bone, Nights of Ash (pt.1) in American Muse. Both projects are underway, & could be marked ‘in progress’.

As for Review 8, those will be going out as early as Wednesday/Thursday, and we can’t wait to get fresh pulp into all of your hands. Book 4 of this year already (!).

Anyways, July, here we come…
