HBD Momma.

Please note slide 4 and how she was an unusual face in the Wilson (Jackson-Reed) High School electronics club. #nerdalert #blacknerds

And also, slide 5 and how Joo-Yung look just like her grandma 😂😍.

And also, in the photos where she’s showing teeth, where I get my smile.

Black empowerment is about honoring the strength, creativity, and resilience of Black people who have shaped this nation from its very foundation.

Black people built this country through their labor, intellect, culture, and leadership—often while being denied freedom, rights, and recognition.

There is no American story without the Black story; they are braided together, inseparable and true.

Black History Month is not a sidebar or a footnote—it is a mirror held up to the soul of the nation.

A time was had! Thank you all for coming to the IPC’s 25th anniversary celebration in DC last night!

25 years of legacy. 25 years of community. 25 years of Brown University’s Inman Page Black Alumni Council.
