This. Journey. Is. Hard.
.
You don’t have to do it alone.
.
Things become instantly easier when you do hard things with other people who are also trying to crush life!
.
It can be a group of friends, a group class, or a coach (and team)!
.
That’s something we do better than anyone else. Community. Family. Call it whatever you want. We all got you. If you ever need help, you know what to do, I got you.

Special thanks to the amazing trainers @movarafitnessresort who helped push me beyond what I thought I was capable of over the last three weeks ⚡️ they are so kind and talented and I’m grateful for each of them! Today is a day to celebrate an amazing human who gives so much of himself to others, uses his past to change futures, and lives what he believes. Larger than life indeed. Happy happy birthday my friend! Love & appreciate you!

This is what not giving up looks like! Make sure to check out the side view to see those guns! 💪
.
@samantha.m.martinez was just like most of us. Yo-yo-ing up and down her entire life. She finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired and got to work!
.
Down a total of 136 POUNDS! She lost a whole person! A super-busy school administrator working tons of hours while balancing family life. Squeezing workouts in at 4am or late at night.
.
These pictures tell an amazing story, but what you don’t see is her transformation on the inside. She is naturally a perfectionist at heart. It’s easy to be a perfectionist on this health journey until it’s not.
.
If you know, you know.
.
Sam has learned to take the long view of health. Not just trying to restrict, restrict so the scale looks good in the morning. Instead, she’s learned to enjoy herself along the way because there is no end to this journey. Now, it’s more about what her body is capable of versus what the scale says.
.
She’s also one of the most consistent people I’ve ever known. She doesn’t miss.
.
Sam and I have talked pretty much every day for the past year+. We worked up a game plan together. Adjusted along the way when needed. She did 100% of the work. All I did was hold her accountable to running the play each day. Every. Dang. Day.
.
I could not possibly be more proud of her!
.
If Sam’s before/after pics inspire you, let’s talk. It’s never too late to get started. 💪
