Love these pics of Pheona sent by @bruff1976 , apparently she said “Who’s David Bowie” on opening the package 🤣

I was seated next to them for Pheona’s first Phish show at Alpine Valley a few years ago, and it was a pleasure! Pheona got down for the whole show and was even dancing in the aisles with me and my girlfriend. She is one rad kid! Thanks for sharing these pics with me Brian!

Avail Frosty Fling

This was my first PDGA tournament I’ve ever played in December! It was at my disc golf buddy @nathan_brewer_disc_golf ‘s school and had a new longer layout including a hole inside in the gym. There were 10 holes we all played three times for 30 total holes in the event.

The course changed yesterday during the round from fall with leaves and brown all around to white wintry snow. The cold and wind also made it a bit tricky to play in (I’m glad we had the indoor hole to warm up on).

I played with juniors Pheona, Clara, and their dads all on a card, and we did our best to have fun even in this weather. I mainly threw my Escape off the tees and did all my short approaches and putting with my EMac Judge putters. A couple of my upshots and shorter tees were with my Kona Shredz EMac Truth too.

I took first in FJ10 with a +9 and threw the least amount of strokes of all ladies/girls playing yesterday. I think this is the last event I’ll play in Minnesota this year, it’s not as fun playing in the cold and wind!

🏆 Silverview Smash recap 🏆

Nathan and Dad hosted the C Tier Silverview Smash on Saturday on a beautiful 45 degree fall day. This is a course that Nathan has been playing for years and sets up very well for his forehand game.

He started very hot with 3 great drives parked for birdie, and never really slowed down on the way to a 954 rated round 😲

Nathan leaned on his Innova DX Gator for straight woods shots, and his Champion Firebird for reliable over stable hyzer forehands to make some of the tight corners on this course.

This was a great victory to pick up at the end of the season. Now the focus will be on the basketball season and indoor putting league.

Thank you to #teaminnova for a great season and for the support!

While I love all the fantastic beers along this beer journey... it's really all about the experiences and the people we meet along the way!

This end of year, I want to ask, "What was you favorite beer experience this year?"

While there were so many great moments...

🍺 - joining the wonderful team at @aegirbrewco
🍺 - my new job as Social Media and Event Coordinator at @pantownbrewingcompany
🍺 - meeting soooo many amazing new beer friends! Love you all! 🥰

But for me, the highlight was this (pictured) moment!

Zach and me getting to share our homebrew and future brewery @fishdreambrewing with the incredible people at the @valleybrewfestosceola

We were honored to take home a Bronze prize for our Oktoberfish!

Cannot wait for what next year will bring in beerventures! 🍻

Your turn @eatminnesota @mnbeerexperience @popensquatwithabeer

Today, October 14th, celebrates the anniversary of homebrewing legalization in the United States thanks to Jimmy Carter back in 1978! So glad we get to make all this deliciousness from home!

Cheers to Jimmy Carter and our other homebrewing friends and all of you that help us drink our experiments! Happy Anniversary! 😘🍻
