Grateful for the opportunity recently to hike Natural Bridge State Park with incoming Georgetown College students who are in our Christian Scholars Program. One student I met is hundreds of pages into writing her first novel. Another student I spoke with has scuba-dived over 100 feet deep! Thank you Dr. Derek Hatch and to our Admissions team for bringing in another incredibly gifted and creative cohort of new CSP students!!

I was honored and so grateful to attend Kody Kasey (Georgetown College Class of 2017) and Abi Hutchinson’s wedding last weekend in Somerset, KY. Gorgeous setting, beautiful wedding, and two incredible friends who love God and love people wholeheartedly. If you don’t know Kody’s AMAZING comeback story, just google it. 1000 blessings friends on your marriage and the new family you are creating together. It was also sweet to reconnect with several other wonderful GC alums at the wedding (a few pictured below include Josh Depp, Joe Ganci, Dustin Haraway, and Cody and Liv Elbert). And a special shout-out to Godwin Igwebuike, my new favorite Seattle Seahawk, for giving one of the greatest best man toasts ever.

This afternoon, I had the signal honor of sharing at Georgetown College for their Black History Month chapel service. For almost 20 years now, Consolidated & Georgetown have been in fellowship & I’m so very grateful to Coach Evans, Sis. Robbi & Pastor Langlands for both the gracious invitation & the kind hospitality shown to me today. Seeing so many familiar faces was the divinely therapeutic moment I didn’t know I needed & we left reminded that regardless of how crazy, hectic or unpredictable things may get, whatever you do, don’t leave before the benediction. #ToHimBeGlory
