🌟 BUDDY READS WITH BRY AND MOSSIE 🌟

Welcome to season two of our Buddy Reads Diaries!!! Did you miss us and our reviews???

Anyways, first on the list of our reviews this time around is The Poison Daughter!! Wow, this was a great start and a HIT for both of us. Sheila Masterson delivered on so many fronts and this book still comes up in our conversations.

We read this in August and September and it was such a memorable read for us. You can swipe to see our thoughts and final verdicts!

QOTD: have you read this book or is it on your TBR?

Part 1 of my Favorite people you should be following!! Had to make this a mini “series” cause TOO MANY of you have won me over since I joined this little Bookstagram corner. This may have to become a monthly thing.

Show them some love this Saturday! Have a wonderful weekend you all! Hope you all soak up some pages 💗📚✨

🌟 Bookstagram Anniversary 🌟
No sickness is stopping me from doing an official Bookstaversary post loll

A journey worth celebrating. 📚🖤
One year ago in May 2025 I started this Bookstagram and honestly I had no idea what it would become. I just needed a space. A space to talk about books, share recommendations, be honest about what I loved and what I absolutely did not and find people who understood that energy. And Bookstagram showed up for me in ways I genuinely did not expect

I had just finished my PhD at that point and if you know, you know. I walked into that journey because of my love for books and literature but somewhere along the way it became its own kind of weight. Finishing it felt like finally being able to breathe again. And in that exhale Bookstagram showed up as a space that let me fall back in love with reading on my own terms.

It has been twelve months of reviews, honest takes, and meeting amazing people who have made this journey worth it! Thank you to everyone who has shown me their support. I'm grateful for you!!

And a very special shout out to my reading buddy and book bestie @brybliophile for making this whole journey so much fun! We've had a grwat time buddy reading really amazing books. Thank you for making the reading life better just by being in it. 🩷

Cheers to year two!! 🙌
