With the start of July, we would like to celebrate the incredible year of leadership, connection, and service that defined the 2025–2026 USC Young Alumni Council.

As the council year officially concludes, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing Chair, Vicente Román, for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to strengthening the Trojan Family.

Throughout this year, YAC continued to expand opportunities for young alumni through professional development, social engagement, service, and outreach initiatives. These accomplishments were made possible because of the passion and dedication of our council members who gave their time, talents, and energy to support fellow Trojans.

A special thank you to our outgoing Immediate Past Chair, Bryanna, for seven incredible years of service to YAC (2019–2026). Your leadership, institutional knowledge, and commitment have helped shape the council and create a lasting impact on generations of young alumni.

As we look ahead to a new council year, we are excited for the next chapter of YAC. We will soon announce our new leadership, returning members, and fresh perspectives joining the Council, we look forward to the programs, connections, and opportunities ahead.

Thank you to all our board members who contributed to this year’s journey. Your service, passion, and Trojan spirit are what make YAC possible.

Fight On! ✌🏼❤️💛

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for our final board meeting of the year and my final meeting as Chair. It was such a meaningful day, beginning with our service project with @paralosninosorg (thank you @christinasogi for coordinating), followed by important school updates, a well-deserved victory lap for our committees, and recognition of so many incredible contributions.

Serving as Chair over the past two years and serving in this board for the last 5 years has one of the greatest honors of my USC volunteer leadership journey. It meant so much to share this chapter with our deans, our amazing external relations team, and the incredible members of DAC, while also having the privilege of representing Marshall on the Board of Governors. The friendships, memories, and impact we created together are something I will always cherish.

I am so proud of everything we accomplished together and deeply grateful to everyone who invested their time, talents, and hearts into this council.

I am excited for @corina413 incredible leadership and all the amazing things DAC will accomplish in the years ahead. The future is bright! Fight on!!!

Not seeing an alumni event that you’re interested in? Learn how to host your own! ✌️

🤓Study up on the best way to gather Trojans for events. Whether you live outside of our active regional networks or have an event that Trojans would enjoy, we’d love to review and coordinate with our alums to spread the word on impactful events with our community

We shot this video on my final day of living LA. Los Angeles is a city where it’s incredibly easy to get caught in a downward tailspin of the things we think we want. In the end it’s the small things: community, faith, friends, hobbies, and the small joys like sitting under a tree that matter the most. Could not pulled this off without all the help of our friends.
Special shout out to my brother (Abo L Booi) who flew across the world to help me move back across the world (and shoot a music video in the process).
