In 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣, we… 🪩 Attended a LOT of community events and fell more in love with OUR PEOPLE 👷‍♀️ Expanded the OG location 2x 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Added 6 new full-time positions 📚 Began teaching our Executive Functioning curriculum directly in schools 🤓 Launched EnricheryU, our internal Professional Development series 🩺 Invested in healthcare benefits for our staff 🪧Got our name on the building But like we tell our students and staff, progress ISN’T LINEAR. To get to the milestones above, we encountered… 😷 staffing issues due to COVID and mental health challenges 📈 Frequent, sometimes-on-the-fly adjustment of internal processes due to extreme growth (what worked when we were 20 people didn’t work at 50…) ☎️ Communication challenges (see 👆🏻) 👩‍💻 A website hacker 💯 other problems I’ve blocked from my memory! 🙈🙉🙊 In the moment, tackling these challenges felt just plain HARD. I think our success in dealing with them can be attributed to a few things: we ❤️ our work & never lost sight of our company mission, we are avid readers 📚 who will learn their way out of problems 🤓, we are obsessed with protecting our company culture 🛡️and living by our values: Think Big, What Would Fred Rogers Do?, Win as One, Create Raving Fans, and Roll Up Your Sleeves. So, 2022, we’d like to say THANK YOU for some big gifts 🎁 , being a great teacher 👨‍🏫, and allowing us to ride the wave. 🌊

Be very careful! The #FireTower is NOT filled with fireworks at all - mostly broken glass. It's enough to make a man eat his turkey and ham sandwich out of doors. Toodle-oo! #Highlands #NorthCarolina #NantahalaNationalForest #Cackalackey #WhereIsTheCookout #WhereIsTheBojangles #HellOnEarth #GoPro #🆗 #🆒 #🇺🇸
