🏅 And there were even more medals this weekend! Back on home soil we have athletes racing the infamous IRONMAN Wales and the Stratford Big 10k. 🏅

Over in Wales, Pro Team Member, Mimi was racing her first professional IRONMAN and what a course to do it on! With barely any flat, constant rain but second to none support, Mimi showed a very strong performance across swim, bike and run to finish 5th. A results she should be really proud of and another trophy in the cabinet. 🚀

Community member, Jonathan, also slayed the dragon this weekend. Even with a bike mechanical which meant he had very limited gears over the hills, Jonathan showed grit, strength and determination to bring it home in style. Well done Jonathan, a truly deserved medal. 🐉

Just 7 days post Belgium 70.3, Ben S. was back out there racing the Stratford Big 10k. It was awesome to see Ben nail a new 10k PB on anything but a flat course and after last weekend, a true ode to his current form and motivating for the last push towards Malaga 70.3. 😎

Well done to all this weekend, so awesome to see. 💜

💜 MEDAL MONDAY 💜 A busy weekend of racing for the team, with some brilliant performances from Brighton to Bala to Belgium!

Down in Brighton we had three team members flying the flag. Wayne put together a seriously strong race in the Olympic distance, finishing 9th in his age group! Even more impressive considering he’s much more at home over the longer distances and has been battling sickness all week.

Katy dropped down to the Standard Aquabike to protect a slight niggle ahead of her main race later in the year. After getting through a seriously choppy sea swim and a very windy bike, she’ll hopefully take plenty of confidence from the day. If she can handle those conditions, Malaga should feel easy in comparison! 💪

And Ben L absolutely smashed it in the Standard Duathlon, putting together a very fast 5km, 40km bike and 10km run to take the win and the tape! 🥇🔥 What a performance!

Andrew rounded out his Super Series season yesterday. After coming down with an illness, it was a race to simply get finished, but he can still look back on a fantastic year of racing. Onwards from here! 💪

In Bala Emma rounded out her season with the Standard distance triathlon. Emma showed her strength to put in her strongest ever swim and bike performance over this distance, finishing off with a solid run. Well done Emma, it has been a great season and you should be very proud of the progress you have made. 💜

Finally, in Belgium Ben S. was back racing over the 70.3 distance after the disappointment of the Versailles cancellation. Ben had a great day, battling the notorious winds on that course to finish with his fastest 70.3 run to date, a performance to be proud of. But in true Ben style, there is still room for a few more... all eyes on Malaga! 💪

Well done all, inspiring as ever. 💜🚀

💜 MEDAL MONDAY 💜

🇵🇱 Poznań 70.3. 5 team members, 5 different stories.

Dotty came 7th in her AG with a super strong swim & bike. The run wasn’t her best, but she gave it everything. We know there’s more in there, and with Malaga in 6 weeks, she’ll be saving it for then! 💪

Ben H had PB swim AND bike! A planned run/walk brought him comfortably under 6 hours and gives him a great foundation for Roth ‘27. 👊

Katie put in a brilliant swim and sub-3-hour bike. The plan was always aquabike due to an ongoing injury, which is frustrating, but as Katie said: “We’ve got to make lemonade out of lemons.” 🍋 We’re super stoked for her! ❤️

Graham had another great race and a reminder of just how far he’s come. 18 months ago he was completely new to the sport. Sometimes looking back is more powerful than looking forward. There’s plenty more in the tank for G! 🔥

James had solid swim, strong bike matching his PBs, and a run that didn’t quite go to plan. He dug deep for a 5:30 finish and another building block towards Malaga. 💪

🇦🇹 Unfortunately, Agnes’ day didn’t go to plan. After overcoming the pre-race nerves that took over last year, she was calm had a genuinely enjoyable swim. Around 20km into the bike she started feeling unwell. Huge thanks to the Ironman medical team for their quick response and care. ❤️

🚀 Ben’s race a Sprint at Eton as a final VO2max hit before 70.3 Belgium! Taking home 🥈 in his AG and knocking 3 minutes off his PB!

💜 Aurelia raced her final full kit check before the Sprint World Champs. Despite a chaotic swim start, she found her flow and powered home with a 🥈 finish and a super-strong run. Bring on Worlds! 🌍

Andrew took on race 5 of the Welsh Super Series, continuing a brilliant year of racing, and after the last few years, we LOVE to see it! 💜

Another busy week. Plenty of medals, plenty of progress, and one brilliant team. 🫶

🏅 MEDAL MONDAY. NEBULA CLUB CHAMPS EDITION 🚀

What a weekend at Eton Dorney for the Nebula crew! Sunshine, questionable amounts of lycra and most importantly, a big chunk of the team together on a start line. 💜

🏆 THE WOMEN

🥇 Frankie took home the trophy, finishing 2nd female overall AND bagging a new 5km PB! 🚀

🥈 Lucy was our 2nd Nebula female. Fantastic to see her back racing after time out with a swim injury. 💜

🥉 Dotty rounded out the women’s podium in 3rd, travelling down from Scotland before turning her attention to Poznan 70.3. 🇵🇱

💜 Katy was back racing after TWO AND A HALF YEARS! Amazing to see her building confidence ahead of her return to longer distance racing.

🚴‍♀️ Katie took on the Standard Aquabike just days after a spicy 10 mile TT. 1st in her AG and 4th female overall!

🏆 THE MEN

🥇 Chris took home the men’s trophy, finishing 3rd male overall! After a big crash last year, this was his first race back, and not even a puncture could slow him down. A huge confidence boost ahead of Tallinn 70.3.

🥈 Matt came home 2nd Nebula male with a flying bike and run, plus a swim improvement. Full gas into Malaga 70.3! 🔥

🥉 Ben S finished 3rd with a Sprint PB, on a road bike! Straight back to training with Belgium 70.3 soon 🇧🇪

💜 Phil was back racing after time away and recovering from cracked ribs. No boats this time! Brilliant to see him back and finishing with a smile.

💜 Wayne made a last minute decision to race after Outlaw Full, taking on his first ever sprint! A great reminder that racing for fun with your mates matters too. 🙌

💜 Ben H put together a solid swim, bike and run. Seeing him back running while managing a knee injury was a huge step forward ahead of Poznan 💪

💜 Team Manager James brought his A game, running home with a 22:14 5km. Proof that maybe structured training actually works… 👀😂

💜 Graham did what G does best: absolutely destroy the bike with ridiculous raw power, this guy is a weapon!

💜 Liam travelled down for his second triathlon of the year after Mallorca 70.3. Great to see him back in purple, although no post race pool jumps thi

Tomorrow we’re off to Eton Dorney for our inaugural Club Championships! 🚀 (AKA the most important race of the year!!)

Club titles are up for grabs, bragging rights are very much on the line, and we’re looking forward to getting the club together for a cracking morning of swim, bike and run 🤩

Whether you’re racing for the podium or just hoping not to get caught by James on the run, it’s going to be a great day. Best of luck to everyone racing, see you on the start line (and at the picnic afterwards!) 💜

🏅 MEDAL MONDAY 🏅

Saturday saw some of the squad head to Eton Dorney for a morning of Sprint and Standard distance racing. Katie delivered a brilliant performance in the Olympic Distance Aquabike, taking 2nd place and even more impressively, knocking almost EIGHT minutes off her previous bike split at Eton 🔥

Frankie gave us a glimpse of her incredible form, taking the overall win in the Olympic Distance triathlon 🥇 After a composed swim and strong bike leg, she backed it up with a run split that finished just 10 seconds outside her standalone 10km PB.

In the Sprint race, James and Jo both put together solid performances, spending most of the race pushing and chasing each other around the course! Lucy also had a fantastic race in the Sprint Relay, especially on the run. After months of consistent hard work, it’s exciting to see the progress starting to come together. Unfortunately Ben’s race was interrupted by a puncture, but he headed out for the 5km run and put down a strong time regardless. Not the day he hoped for, but plenty of positives to take forward with eyes now firmly on Malaga in October 🇪🇸

Katy raced the Worthing 10km in some windy coastal conditions. It was a great opportunity to put down a benchmark effort as she returns to training. The comeback journey officially begins 💪

Ben kicked off his middle distance season at IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton. He delivered a solid all round race, including his fastest ever 70.3 run split on a far from easy course. The hard work is paying off, and now the focus shifts towards a specific build for Versailles in July 🇫🇷

Josh took on IRONMAN 70.3 Switzerland. The final few weeks have been anything but straightforward, but Josh kept showing up. It may have been a tough day out, but the determination to keep fighting right to the finish line showed huge character and is something to be incredibly proud of 💜

And last but definitely not least, Maddy absolutely smashed IRONMAN 70.3 Alghero. Finishing 2nd in her age group and 4th female overall against a stacked field, it was a hugely impressive performance from start to finish and a brilliant result on the international stage! 🚀

What. A. Team. 💜

💜🚀 Medal Monday: Crushing it in the Cotswolds 🚀💜

Coached athletes, Ben and Emma, took on the slightly chilly 51Fiver Olympic distance triathlon this weekend to put their training to the test.

Emma raced strong to finish 4th in her age category. Emma stayed composed through the cold swim, rode patiently, then finished even better with a negative split run. This performance was an ode to her hard work and commitment and really promising as she builds towards the British Championships at the end of June. Let’s go Emma! 🚀

Ben used the race as a strong training day ahead of his first 70.3 of the year. After a disrupted few weeks post-marathon, the cold swim was tough, but he showed great power on the bike and closed the day off with a solid negative split run. Plenty of positive signs heading into Bolton and exciting to see what is possible this year. Bring it on Ben! 🚀

💜🏅 MEDAL MONDAY 🏅💜

This weekend was a powerful reminder of what this sport is all about; not just results (although SUB 2h marathon?!) but resilience, perseverance, and showing up when it’s hard.

🚀 Ben lined up at the Shakespeare Marathon to take on a scenic (and “lumpy!”) course. Finishing in 3:25:59, he achieved a huge personal best, over an hour faster than his previous time. A mega result and a real sign of what’s to come. Time for a little rest before triathlon season in 3 weeks!

🚀 Chris took on the London Marathon after a last-minute charity place, but the bigger story is everything that came before. The past year has been incredibly tough; significant ligament damage after last year’s race, followed by being airlifted to hospital during Zell am See 70.3. Just reaching the start line again was huge. To complete the race, smiling, says everything. This was about getting back to doing what he loves, a MASSIVE moment and a strong foundation for 2026. 💜

🚀 James headed to Kielder Forest for the Dirty Reiver Gravel Race, tackling 130km alongside @facesofpinnacle colleagues in support of the Sage Foundation. A long, demanding day with highs, lows, and a few tears. But he kept moving forward to finish in 7h30. Next up... Mallorca 70.3 in under 2 weeks!

🚀 Phil made his return to racing at the Woking Super Sprint Tri with a last-minute entry after injury. A strong performance across all three disciplines saw him win his age group and finish just one minute off the overall podium, an incredible comeback.

Huge well done to all four athletes. Different journeys, same determination to keep pushing forward 💫

🏅💜 MEDAL MONDAY 💜🏅

This weekend @mattwhite991 races Surrey Half Marathon. After a couple of years of injuries and inconsistent running the start of this year has been a huge step in the right direction and the fact he went out and ran a 1h31 on Sunday is a huge confidence boost and so well deserved after all the hard work he’s been putting in!
It’s been a long time coming! Well done Matt! Next stop Mallorca 70.3 🇪🇸🔜

Community member, Kathryn, nailed the Carlisle 10k. “On the whole I enjoyed it & it was good to be out there doing something. Gives me a good benchmark & to get back into training.” Yes, Kathryn, let’s go. 🚀

As a part of his marathon prep, @bsandham86, took on the Two Lakes 20miler. The aim was getting in the distance with a 12k race pace effort, ticking off the right nutrition plan and trying his first proper Carb load! Ben nailed the plan across the board and bring on the next 5 weeks before, marathon go time! 💪

Well done to everyone who raced this weekend, truly inspiring and bring on the rest of the season.

🏅 MEDAL MONDAY 🏅

This weekend we had a brilliant group of Nebula athletes head over to Wokingham for the first Team hit out of the year… and what a way to start 2026!

We saw some HUGE PBs across the board, with Mark, Pete, Wayne, Jake, SJ and Elo all running their fastest ever times over 21.1km 👏🔥 That’s serious work paying off!

It’s fair to say there are some very happy (and very tired!) legs today… but we couldn’t be prouder. What a confidence boost to take into the next training block as we build towards triathlon season!

Liam and Matt went into the race chasing PBs too, but the winter cold had other plans. That said, both still laid down strong performances and smart, well executed runs. A clear sign that when they’re back to 100% fitness, big results are coming.
Ben L came in to this race having spent the last few months recovering from an injury so run volume has been low and bike legs have been getting stronger! However he went and ran his third quickest HM - what an effort!
Ben S ran strong across the 13.1 windy, undulating miles and was only just outside his PB. Wokingham is a key race in his marathon prep which shows signs of a strong season ahead. Great running!
And finally thanks to George, who despite having not run in 5 weeks, pinned a bib on to pace check the girls and carry the gels - super human!

Massive effort from everyone involved. Hard work. Team spirit. Big momentum to start the year.

Let’s go 🚀💜 #MedalMonday #WokinghamHalf #NebulaTriathlon
