This episode of Heart of the Matter is about what happens when you refuse to let where you started determine where you finish. Buddy Rushing @buddyrushing grew up poor, on welfare and food stamps, but somehow beat the odds to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, become a Marine officer and serve multiple deployments overseas. But this story is just as much about Kimberly @realworldrushings . They talk about their first real estate investment, Buddy deploying while Kimberly learned the business as she went, and the decision to eventually leave the military and bet on themselves. That bet became White Feather Investments and a mission much bigger than building wealth for their own family. Today, they help veterans, first responders and others learn how to create financial freedom, while continuing to evolve as entrepreneurs and now teaching people how to practically use AI in business and everyday life. This isn’t just a story about money. It’s about marriage, sacrifice, resilience, taking risks and changing the trajectory of your life. One of my favorite Heart of the Matter conversations. Watch this one. www.whitefeather.ai @whitefeatherfreedom Hosted by: @junejitsu @awelllivedlife Videographer: @naytron Edited by: Dune Media

COMMUNITY IS ABOUT MORE THAN CONNECTION. IT’S ABOUT HELPING EACH OTHER MOVE FORWARD. I’m incredibly excited to welcome @buddyrushing @realworldrushings of @whitefeatherfreedom as sponsors of The Group. Their mission really resonates with what we’re building: give people practical tools that can genuinely change their lives. AI isn’t the future anymore. It’s here. Buddy and Kimberly are helping people understand how to actually use it in everyday life and in business. From saving time and simplifying decisions to building companies, creating systems and turning ideas into action. What excites me most is that they’re not trying to make AI complicated. They’re making it accessible. Practical. Human. That’s impact. And that’s exactly the kind of people I want standing alongside The Group as we continue building a community centered around collaboration, education and helping one another rise. Welcome to The Group family, Buddy and Kimberly. We’re just getting started. And if you or your company believes in the power of community and wants to help us continue creating spaces where people feel seen, supported and connected, we’d love to have you alongside us. Sponsoring The Group isn’t just about putting your name behind something. It’s about putting your name behind people. If that mission speaks to you, reach out to learn more about becoming a sponsor. Thank you to our talented videographer/producer @heyleondotcom for producing the video.

Most people are still investing the old way. Manually researching markets, analyzing deals by hand, and spending hours on tasks that AI can now handle in minutes. We do it differently. AI has completely changed how we find opportunities, how we analyze properties, and how we run our business day to day. It gives us back time, helps us move faster, and lets us make smarter decisions without needing a massive team behind us. And we teach all of it inside our community. If you are ready to stop doing this the hard way and start building with the tools that are actually moving the needle right now, we would love to have you 🤍 Link in bio to join us.

Every single one of these trips happened because we made a decision to build a life that did not require permission. We have been so grateful for every adventure this family has taken together. Every beach, every sunset, every moment we looked at each other and thought how did we get here. Last week we left again — 9 weeks this time. Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, a cruise, and a stop in Ontario for the Tsunami Summit along the way !! This is not luck. This is what years of building the right systems, the right investments, and the right community looks like in real life. We share all of it so you can build your version of this too. Follow along this summer because we are just getting started 🤍

You won't lose your job to AI. You'll lose it to someone who knows how to use it. Average agents? Getting eviscerated. Great agents with AI? Rising to the top. The difference isn't talent. It's who shows up first, follows up consistently, and charges less because their overhead is lower. That's not the future. That's already happening right now. He built an AI that scrapes 50 million property records, writes campaigns in his voice, loads them into his CRM and executes everything automatically. While you're clicking through Property Radar one by one, Maverick is doing it 20 times faster. This is what serious real estate investing looks like in 2026. Most real estate investors are still doing this the hard way. Manually scanning listings. Spending weekends analyzing deals. Managing properties with outdated systems. Working harder every year just to stay in the same place. We were there too. And then AI changed everything. We now find deals faster than we ever thought possible. We analyze opportunities in a fraction of the time. We manage properties without needing a team of ten. And we have more time for our family because of it. This is not theory. We use these tools every single day inside White Feather to build real cash flow and teach others to do the same. Here’s what the data says. AI is projected to deliver $34 billion in efficiency gains across real estate by 2030. 76% of real estate firms are already moving in this direction. The investors who adopt this now are building an advantage that compounds every single year. You don’t have to figure this out alone. We built the White Feather AI community specifically for veterans, first responders, and their families who are ready to use AI to build real wealth. The training, the tools, and the team are all in there waiting for you. $19 a month to start. Link in bio. 🤍
