It’s #alwayshotathermitage but still one of my favorite days of the year. You’ll never meet a group of kinder, more creative people…except maybe at another maker market. Thanks for a lovely event @hermitagemuseumva! #buylocal #supportlocal #comecraftwithme #falsefall

Compassionate Creativity Camp — Day 2 💛

Day 2 was all about service, creativity, and connection!

Our campers continued exploring how their individual efforts can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families preparing for cleft lip and palate surgery.

Today’s workshops included:

✨ 47 Patient Cards — Campers created bright, uplifting cards for Operation Smile patients!

🧵 42 Quilt Squares — Campers designed individual quilt squares that will become part of a larger collection representing community, creativity, and connection!

😊 47 Smile Bags — Campers designed and created Smile Bags that will be provided to patients throughout their surgical journey!

A HUGE thank you to Buffie Blauvelt, Jessica Goldner, Kevin, and Marquisha Johnson for leading today’s incredible activities and helping our campers turn creativity into meaningful acts of service!

We are also so grateful to Moe’s Southwest Grill for generously providing lunch for our campers today! Thank you for helping fuel our campers through another full day of learning, collaboration, creativity, and service! 🌮💛

As Day 2 comes to a close, our campers are learning that leadership isn’t just about having a voice—it’s about choosing to use your voice, creativity, and time to serve others.

What an incredible second day of Camp! We can’t wait for Day 3! ✨

The Mighty Minis Exhibition never fails to blow us away. 💫 A true celebration of community, creativity, and accessible art. This spring exhibition features our largest installation yet: 80 artists, 240 original works of art, all available at the attainable price of $125.

The Mighty Minis exists to make art collecting approachable for both the collector and the artist, creating opportunities to support working artists while bringing original art into more homes and hearts.

Thank you ARTISTS and COLLECTORS for celebrating creativity with us and for continuing to champion the arts in our community. May these minis continue to inspire joy, spark imagination, and remind us all to create simply for the love of art.

Be well. Art for life, community for all.
