Fun trip to the hills of Maryland! Not as easy to find wild trout streams in Maryland as it is with PA but when you do find them, the fish are beautiful! 🤙🏼🔥

I just tried out my new Buggalow Fly Box and I love it. Everyone has their nippers and forceps readily available, usually clipped somewhere on the outside of their waders or pack, but the fly boxes are always tucked away behind a pesky zipper.

Finally, a fly box has been designed to do the same thing. With the increasing popularity of simplifying your fly box, this is the perfect invention. The Buggalow allows anglers to operate conveniently and efficiently.

Grab yourself a Buggalow, fill it with some simple pheasant tails, and catch some trout. @buggalowflybox

Next up on Makers On The Drift is @buggalowflybox.

Buggalow was created by David Waltman, an avid angler based in Colorado with experience guiding fly fishing in both Utah and Georgia. Fishing waters like the Frying Pan River and the Roaring Fork River, he set out to solve a simple problem he noticed over years on the water.

The idea was straightforward: fly anglers carry tools everywhere, but not their flies in a way that’s equally accessible and efficient.

After years of thinking through the concept, Waltman designed a cylindrical fly box that is compact, easy to carry, simple to open, and capable of holding enough flies for the average angler. After multiple iterations and refinements, the Buggalow was developed as a practical, wearable solution built specifically for real use on the water.

All Buggalow products are made in the USA using PETG plastic, which is fully recyclable. Excess material from production is sent to Printerior Designs, where it is reused to create new material, helping reduce waste and limit environmental impact.

Was able to get on the river this evening for a much needed fly fishing session! Was able to avoid the rain and landed this nice brown trout on a size 18 nymph! The @buggalowflybox is hands down one of my favorite pieces of gear, easy access to change flies quick without digging through a pack! #flyfishing #browntrout #troutbum #outdoors #virginia
