One year of BEAR! The word “BEAR” means several things: to carry, to apply pressure, to witness, to birth, to assume, to support, and last—but never least—there is the beast. The songs on this album exist as a tapestry of all definitions and applications, an exploration of outsiderness and belonging, a study in opposites. This project exists as our most ambitious to date, as we aimed to represent both weight and lightness on the tracks, devastation and elevation in the sounds, and color and contrast in the visuals. We’re so proud of what we created, and we thank you for listening!

Buick has been working on one more thing related to this record, and we’ll share about that soon, but for now, here are some Polaroids from the BEAR sessions at GodCity mixed with the original lyric sheets from when she wrote the songs. Some of them are partial and incomplete, and we have no idea where KEEPING SCORE ended up, but it’s always and forever the mother of the record!

Happy one year to 🌿BEAR!🌿

ALL OF OUR GRATITUDE

last night October 2nd, 2026, one of my favorite bands came back to Los Angeles to do another awesome outstanding performance at the @permanentrecordsroadhouse @friendshipcommanders @buickaudra & @jerryroe Just like last year in 2025 but on my birthday (11-13-99) it's always good to see them perform.
1st Slide : The Enemy I know
2nd Slide : Drain (Bear Album)
3rd Slide : Midheaven (Bear Album)
4th Slide : Blue (Mass Album) (last song of their performance)
I also got a photo with them and I needed to buy another Mass book written by Buick Audra. (last slides)
It's always good to see you both. Can't wait for more.
Thank you both Friendship Commanders Buick Audra and Jerry Roe for coming back to LA for another performance.

Thank you, friends! Our Fall tour is wrapped! We send our appreciation to everyone who came out to the shows, worked the events, and hosted! Wonderful to see allies new and old. We have some festivals and assorted dates remaining in 2026, but for now, please accept this sweaty, happy, midnight photo of us after last night’s show in L.A. as proof of our gratitude!

Rocktober is starting off strong as last night’s show at the Ivy Room provided a good time for all. We were lucky to have FRIENDSHIP COMMANDERS come through town again as they make their way back to Nashville. They gave us a mighty set and it’s always a pleasure catching up with Buick and Jerry!
And it’s been too long since we’ve seen THE FREAK ACCIDENT and damn, can they put out some noise! Definitely a local favorite that keeps us coming back for more.
My first time seeing THE CLARKE NOVA and they had some good raw energy to close out the night. Whew, this has been a whirlwind of a week of shows!
