2023: Feedback received. Weakness identified. Work in progress! 🚧⚠️🫡

Last show, the midsection was a little too distended, and control during transitions needed work. So, what changed?

🥗 Smarter food choices, even when going off-plan.
💪🏾 Abs, vacuums & planks multiple times a week.
🧘🏾‍♂️Posing, breathing & midsection control practised year-round — not just pre-contest.

Because bodybuilding isn’t just about building muscle. It’s about minor details and mastering presentation. The offseason is where weaknesses become strengths! 🔥

Three years away from the bright lights of the stage, One comeback and a story still being written! 🖤

Two and a half years ago, injury and surgery forced me away from training and into a battle I never expected to face. What followed was a physical and mental struggle that tested me in ways bodybuilding never had before. Rebuilding my body, rebuilding my strength, and learning to start again from what felt like square one. There were days when progress felt impossible, and moments when I questioned if I could get back to where I had been!

But I kept showing up each day. Tedious rehab and physio. One rep, one session, one day at a time.

To return after everything and produce the best look of my life to date is something I’ll always be proud of. Against the odds, it felt like all the makings of the perfect comeback story. The three-year hiatus, the setbacks, the recovery, the sacrifices, and finally, the return.

Unfortunately, the judges decision went against me on the day. And as much as you prepare yourself for every possible outcome, it doesn’t make the disappointment any easier when you’ve poured so much of yourself into something.

But sometimes, the result doesn’t reflect the full story behind the physique standing on that stage.

I may not have left with the win, but I left knowing I’d made significant improvements, overcome battles most people never saw, and brought my best package to date. That means something to me, and nobody can take that away.

This chapter wasn’t the fairytale ending I’d hoped for, but it doesn’t have to be the ending at all.

We take the lessons, build on the improvements, and get back to work. More muscle. More refinement. More progress. No bitterness, no excuses, just a relentless commitment to becoming better.

The comeback was never just about returning to the stage. It was about proving to myself that a setback doesn’t have to become the end of the story.

Next time, we come back even better. And we keep working until the improvements speak for themselves and the package becomes UNDENIABLE!

The story is far from finished! 🏆

GAME DAY ⌛️ The last set of check in photos I sent to @sas_heirati show day morning about 7 hours before stepping on stage! 💪🏾

The look was pretty much there… Just a final coat of tan and then drip feed some carbs up until stage time. The plan was set and Sas could finally get to bed after a super impressive Saturday night showing at the @mrolympiallc in Vegas ⭕️🇺🇸 Deservingly earning himself the final placing in a super competitive lineup and cementing himself as the 15th best bodybuilder on the planet! 🔥👏🏾😁

Not a bad day out for coach and client! 😎🫱🏾‍🫲🏽💙

Side Chest Sunday! 🍉🍉

Its funny how a few seconds under the lights, a single snapshot of time, can carry months/years of hard work, consistency and hardships. The stage doesn’t show the sacrifice — it shows the result! 🏁💪🏾☑️

16 Weeks of work = 38lbs 🔻 Down!

After a shoulder injury which required surgery and a long recovery hiatus 🤕 @sas_heirati and I linked back up and jumped straight in to a prep! 📉

No better way to get the body lean and responsive 👌🏾 before we transition in to a big growing phase! 💪🏾📈🫡

If I had a £1 for everytime someone asked me this 😂

In all honesty, I make sure I do things for myself where I can, my weekly PT with @emily.enhancefitness and my dance classes with @mindandmoves_ really help! Today had a massage with @built2movetherapy who always sorts my back out.

Just making sure I fit in things for me too. But it's not an easy task! Balance is pretty hard to achieve!

🎨 As artists, our hands are our tools—our power. Getting treated by the best isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. 🖐🏾✨

Whether it's creating holding a brush or pencil for hours, precision and care matters!

I am grateful to have a therapist who can keep my body in check @built2movetherapy. I highly recommend her! 🙌🏾
