Fit kids are disciplined kids! Teach them what health and fitness is, set the example by being fit yourself and keep them accountable.

It does not have to be perfect. And you don’t have to be perfect either. But a good balance between a good life and a balance life is important.

All I want for Father’s Day… is… to create memories with my daughters. I love being a father. Love my girls. That’s all the gift I need in the world.
.
Happy Father’s Day month to you all great fathers out there. You know who I’m talking about! Those who continue to be the example our kids need to grow up to be the best version of themselves.

Update May 2026. 1st fat back to resistance training post surgery.
Last week I was able to do some stretching and calisthenics and stimulate the muscle. That made today a lot easier to approach with respect to mobility and stabilization.

Don’t wait!! 🦌 Hear it from Tahoe Show champ @ty_ranosaurs26 why stepping on the #tahoeshow stage is a different experience.
..
From the unreal Lake Tahoe backdrop, the @ballyslaketahoe theater stage, the energy during the show, to the post-show winner yacht shoot… this isn’t just another NPC show. It’s the kind of experience athletes remember forever.

If you’ve been thinking about competing… this is your sign.

Early bird registration ends next month. 6/14

You walk in. You look left. You look right. You check your phone. You look left again.

Three minutes pass and you haven’t touched a single piece of equipment.

Sound familiar? 👀

This is called decision paralysis — and it’s not a motivation problem. It’s an options problem. Big commercial gyms are designed with hundreds of machines because more equipment = more perceived value on the sales tour. But once you’re actually IN there? Infinite options = zero action.

The fix is stupidly simple:

Walk in with 3 exercises written down. That’s it. Not a full program. Not a perfect plan. Just 3 things.

You’ll do more in 30 focused minutes than most people do in 90 aimless ones.

This is exactly why I built @truvefit the way I did — a private training facility in the heart of Oakland where you always know what you’re doing when you walk through the door. No wandering. No wasted sessions. Just work.

If you’ve been spinning your wheels at a big box gym and want a plan that actually fits your life in Oakland, drop a 💪 below or DM me the word PLAN.
