True emotional intelligence in fashion isn't just about understanding fabric weights or market trends; it is about recognizing the deeper human desire to feel seen, valued, and elevated by what we wear. When building Hollywood Luccie, the journey has never been solely about constructing garments—it has been about curating an authentic identity, honoring the resilience of where we started, and creating an emotional armor for those who refuse to blend in. Every stitch of high-density embroidery and every carefully chosen textile carries a story of ambition, elegance, and self-expression, inviting our audience to wear their aspirations proudly and step into their power every single day. #businessowner #businessgrowth #businessmindset #marketing #business

Guess which fonts cost actual money ☝🏼

(Prices are for the entire family…you can get individual styles for a lot cheaper 😉)

Are you team free or paid fonts?? 🤔

You know that point in a project where Shopify starts fighting back? 🙃

Same…so I built something that makes that part disappear.

It started as “a few custom sections,” and, well…now it’s a thing.

Stay tuned: it’s almost ready to escape the lab. 👀

A busy year for Carin Susann Designs! Learning & connecting with so many amazing people (too many to name but they are tagged!)

Thank you so much for letting me create beautiful pieces to celebrate YOU, your events, your loved ones, and your stories.

JANUARY: We ended 2023 with a giveaway and got people excited for the Hope Slim Collection 🎉

FEBRUARY: The month associated with love, we celebrated with turning that love to yourself and introduced the mini diamond heart pendant. ❤️

MARCH: Living my best neon life at my niece’s Bat Mitzvah ✡️

APRIL: A family adventure to Japan 🇯🇵 learning about and appreciating diverse cultures while adjusting to time zones 😴

MAY: Lucky to have the Northern Lights in our backyard providing inspo for future pieces that will highlight the incredible colors of the sky 🌌

JUNE: My birthday month! Celebrating with 47% off any item for a lucky winner and getting to create a custom Hope Diamond Single Bar Necklace for her 💎 but also, my birthday (did I mention that?) 🤗😆

JULY: The jewels took a trip to Italy wine country 🇮🇹 🍷 for a photo shoot with @italysantangelus

AUGUST: The most exciting month of the year - when the new website launched!!! After months of prep, rebranding, content shoots and new colors the incredible work of @jbuchholzdesign @bungalow.creative @_karamercer @with.mads @jeff.mason.photography came together for an epic website 🖥️

SEPTEMBER: We celebrated my sister’s 5️⃣0️⃣th birthday in Omaha (the sister that does not have a collection named after her…yet 😬)

OCTOBER: NYC in the Fall, celebrating another bat mitzvah with dear friends and getting to confer with all the people who help bring my designs to life! 🗽

NOVEMBER: The annual Thanksgiving 🦃 pop-up at @beck_houseoffashion where I get to drink champagne 🥂 , nosh on a cheese plate 🧀, shop their incredible clothes, and spend time with all the people I grew up with who help support CSD 🌽

DECEMBER: And finally, the end of 2024. Celebrating family and holidays in Canada 🇨🇦, celebrating the launch-aversary of CSD with yet another giveaway, and sabering a bottle of British Columbia bubbles to say farewell to 2024 🗡️🍾

Bring on 2025!

This one’s for the web designers who are banging their head against the wall feeling frustrated when it comes to Shopify 😄 At first, it can feel so limited in terms of design flexibility, especially when you’re coming from a drag-and-drop platform like Showit or Squarespace…

This is a really high-level overview of what coding custom sections in Shopify looks like (a whole book could probably be written about step 4), but is a great starting point for diving into the world of total flexibility on the platform.

Got any Qs? 👇🏼
