Shorter days and an influx of Halloween decor can only mean one thing... Spooktober is upon us!

To celebrate, we will be hosting our fourth adults only Science Trivia. This time? We’re leaning into the scary side of science. You can expect to be quizzed on parasites, natural disasters and what happens in the vacuum of space in this Halloween Special Event.

Hosted by our friends at Monkey Tree Pub, we will be starting three rounds of trivia at 7pm on October 25th. Teams of up to 6 are welcome, although solo challengers are also allowed, for those who want all the glory for themselves.

Prizes for each round are provided by local sponsors including @westcoastbathhouse @clubkwench @swiftbeer @bustedbutton @wildplayvictoria @monkeytreepub @discoverthepast ! Want to increase your chances of going home with a prize? Show up in your best costumes! Prizes will be awarded for individual and group costumes.

Tickets available online, with limited tickets available at the door. We recommend purchasing ahead of time to assure your spot! All proceeds go into increasing STEM accessibility on Southern Vancouver Island.

Well that was an excellent decision 😁👏 I had so much fun exploring @rockslide_gallery during the @wearevivas art crawl this weekend. These were some of my favourite pieces but many I simply forgot to take photos of!

We have such a vibrant artistic community in this city but we need to work harder nowadays to ensure that the dwindling spaces for artists don't disappear entirely. Please ask your local candidates for election how they prioritize arts and culture in Victoria 💚

Artists in order:

Dale Roberts
Emily Kirsch
Logan Ford
Dot Murray
Paul Fenger

Last night your market boo crew had a spooktacular time at @galey_farms for the Halloween Train, Corn Maze and the super scary and FUN Asylum Haunted house. You definitely don’t want to miss out on all the farm has to offer this year! And how cool is the swamp section of Asylum?
Thanks to the Galey’s crew for having us! 🎃

We thought we were opening a store. Turns out, we're finding our people. 🥹❤️

Today, a new friend walked through our doors with a surprise that completely melted my heart.

She's been following our journey on TikTok and wanted to welcome us to downtown Victoria with some handmade gifts she created especially for us. 😭

I mean, LOOK AT THESE!!! The nostalgia! The creativity! The thoughtfulness! 🥹

When Shaun and I started building The Nostalgia Nook, we dreamed of creating a place that brought people joy. What we never anticipated was just how much joy this community would bring to us.

It's moments like these that remind us we're building something so much bigger than a store.

Thank you, @bustedbutton for making us feel so incredibly welcome. We're so happy to be here. ❤️

Thank you, @bustedbutton!

I will be wearing my new earrings this weekend at Knit City Calgary. 🦝

And for those of you who will be joining us for our Socktober KAL, great news, our weekly prizes will include goodies from @bustedbutton. So cute, I can’t wait to share them!

(But not these earrings, these are MINE.)

Same cut, three very different personalities.

Kiss cut means we cut the vinyl but leave the backing whole, so your art sits on a clean little card. Peels off in one piece, no picking at the corner, no bent edges.

Minimal, maximal, or chaotic good. Send us the art, and we will handle the rest.

Designs by @gilbertsonsmaple, @bustedbutton and @bunbearry
