POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last year, the theme for ADHD Awareness Month was Understanding A Shared Experience and it was that message that prompted @lindsayguentzel to come up with the idea of sharing a different person's story every day in October. 31 episodes in 31 days. Truly the definition of an ADHDer in action!

This year's theme is Moving Forward with ADHD and we've decided to focus on the power in doing that together. If we've learned anything since we launched this podcast, it's the immense power that comes from our community and we are so excited to bring you another set of 31 incredible stories from the ADHD community next month.

We are busy getting everything ready and are looking for a few more diverse voices to add to our line-up. The goal? To continue to build off of last year's success by highlighting the incredible diversity of our community.

Who are we looking for? We are prioritizing BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ voices but would love to hear from you if you are interested in participating!

Here are a few groups we're looking to represent:

✨ Kids & Teens
✨ College Students
✨ Adults 50+ -- Diagnosed In Youth OR Adulthood

If you're interested, send us an email 💌 hello@refocusedpod.com and share a bit about your story with us.

And if you haven't listened to last year's Refocused, Together episodes, you've got plenty of time to check off all 31 of them before this year's ADHD Awareness Month gets underway.

We can't wait to hear from you!

So last #Wednesday I graduated from @blackgirlventures Emerging Leaders #Fellowship 🎓📜

Being a part of this nationwide #Cohort has broadened my entrepreneurial #Horizon tremendously. The ladies I've met and worked with have all touched my #Heart ❤️ in various ways. #Businesswomen from all walks of #Life, coming together to learn & excel . . . while also encouraging, motivating, and uplifting each other on our journeys.

I pray for nothing but #Success for all my BGV sisters. We really got together like a #Family 🥰 thanks so much to @omibell for the most amazing #Opportunity to grow professionally, and personally.

Just in time for back to school, @UshersNewLook is partnering for the second time with cutting-edge school supply company, @InnovativeSupplies! The mission of New Look is to develop youth "#DISRUPTIVATORS" who find disruptive & innovative ways to use their talents to give back. Student artists, Markeita Bratcher, Brenda Khor and Toshiko Tanaka chose to fill a void in the school supply market by designing notebooks for young women of color that feature the inspirational messages, ‘My Natural is Beautiful’ and ‘I Am Free to Be Me’. For every notebook sold, a percentage of proceeds will be donated back to UNL’s Spark Center, an incubator in Atlanta for underserved high school and college students to learn, create and innovate. To support, please purchase the two notebooks at www.InnovativeSupplies.Net
