Felt real good to have a group crit!! Our first Spare Room Residency critique - and our first group show to be announced soon!
Spare Room Residency is for artists that teach. We hope to be productive during the summer but it can be difficult . Spare room provides space for artists to have accountability and receive feedback as needed! While we work in our own studio spaces. This is our 2026-2027 cohort
Shoutout to @uh_painting for the space!

Spare Room Resident @butta_bites Lau De Leon is in her focus week…
“This week, I’m bringing the old into new light. I want to allow material to speak for itself and lead me through the process. This piece im working on carries wire from the fence that divides the cemetery in Marfa by latin/anglo. It carries scraps of materials left in my studio when I taught my friend to sew. I’ve stained it with rust and the sun. I’ve scribbled my anxieties. I’m not sure where it’s going but I will continue to experiment through the week.”

Sneak peek at some of the fabulous art that will be on offer starting Friday as Project Row Houses presents A Night on the Row: Our House, Our Story.

The auction will raise funds in support of PRH’s art, community engagement, and neighborhood development programs, which are always offered at no charge to the community. We are grateful to the artists who so generously support our work and allow us to support other artists like them.

Watch this space for the link to bid on the auction.

This year at Holy Family Episcopal Church was filled with so much grace and beauty. We’re a Jesus-centered church learning how to love God, love people, pray often, and lead well; and 2025 gave us plenty of chances to keep practicing. Here are just a few moments from it.

Thanks be to God for all that has been and all that’s still to come. We absolutely love being the church with y’all. Let’s keep going!
