Today at garden school we gathered poppy seed pods, calendula, red raspberry leaf, chamomile, red clovers, and elder flowers, and we made candle holders decorated with plants and flowers we pressed at the beginning of the session, they turned out so beautiful! Of course we left plenty of time for garden exploration, and rolling down the hill! 🌱 🌸 🌱

Hey everybody, today I wanted to try gardening and soil production. My brother in law has a soil farm @earthwormsoil and my sister has an adorable little garden school she runs out of the gardens @willowspringsgardenschool. I have some experience with gardening but not too much, so I thought It would be fun to try. The highlight for me was learning how to drive the Bobcat. I have zero experience with heavy equipment and I’ve always wanted to try it. At first I was really nervous and working the pedals was a little awkward with my disability, but eventually I got the hang of it and it was really fun and empowering! #willtriesstuff #disabilityawareness #cerebralpalsy #garden

👋 Paradise residents – Please fill out a quick survey to help our composting programs! ♻️

🔗 Link in bio!

👉 Some of you may be aware of the new CA State Laws that passed recently that mandate the diversion of organic materials from landfills. In an effort to create a closed loop system, it’s important to conserve our organic materials to create compost locally.

💭 We want to hear your thoughts about small scale composting in Paradise to process all food waste materials.

🗓️ Please fill the survey out before May 5th! Thank you! 🙏

Joel said, “I was sold on joining as a GrowTECH member after attending Grow Fest 2023, the networking wasn’t forced like other events and has since resulted in 3 separate partnerships that weren’t even on my radar. Eva and her team are proactive and very effective in their intentions to help give small town business’s a network to build on. I have been in business for almost 30 years, being primarily construction and forestry based I don’t have a big network of peers to lean on and Eva has helped fill that void as my business shifts to the next phase of growth. 5 STARS for Chico Start and Grow Tech"! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
