There was something so special about walking into a room filled with Filipino excellence. The representation, energy, passion, and genuine support everyone showed one another made this a day we’ll be talking about for a long time.

We honestly wished we could have been in five places at once. There was so much to experience, learn, and take in, and so many incredible people to connect with.

Congratulations to everyone who brought RISE to life, and a heartfelt thank-you to the entire RISE team for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful experience. You created a space where people could connect, collaborate, and uplift one another, all while keeping us very well-fed and hydrated. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and @thecombine_ was the perfect home for it all.
A very special shout out to @deedelara and @natalie.matias

We left feeling incredibly proud to be part of a Filipino community that continues to grow, evolve, and create spaces like this.

We already can’t wait for next year. 🚀🇵🇭

Happy Anniversary to US 🥳❤️

3 years + 7 seasons later, we are so grateful for the community we’ve built. To all our boss babae’s and kababayan who stay rocking with us, we want to say maraming maraming salamat!

We’ve made memories, shared stories, taken up space, and stayed loud and proud about our Filipino roots and we wouldn’t have done it any other way 🫶🏽🇵🇭

After work, I had the pleasure of attending a private menu tasting at Lakay Kusina, hosted by the amazing @munchjeez, and let me just say… I’m still dreaming about the flavours. 🍽️ From the first bite to the last sip, everything was perfectly crafted with love and bold Filipino fusion flair.

The vibes? Immaculate. 💫
The DJ kept the energy alive all night, spinning tracks that had us dancing in our seats—and yes, there was even karaoke to end the evening right! 🎤 On top of that, we were treated to an unforgettable comedy set by none other than Big Norm—pure entertainment and belly laughs!

And let’s not forget the room full of incredible foodie influencers who made the experience that much better. Positive energy, real support, and shared appreciation for good food. 🥂

This wasn’t just about eating—it was about connection, creativity, and culture. And I truly can’t wait to go back. ✨

you ever feel like you've been kinda, maybe, sometimes, periodically -- wearing a mask before all this even happened ?
yeah, me too. i've been taking more time to understand maybe i wasn't completely 'healed' from past life-changing events. maybe it's okay to look back, reflect, maybe cry a little, then maybe cry alot.
it's maybe okay to be vulnerable ... maybe even 'soft.' maybe even delicate.
maybe it's okay to share intimate parts of me..
even though maybe it makes me uncomfortable.
and still does.
maybe i just need you to know the obvious - rainbows don't come till after the rain.
but i still love the rain.
or maybe, i'm just proud of my bloom. 🌱
