@3sartspace and @recovergirl360 are excited to introduce the 2026 class of Designers for this year’s Project Upcycle sustainable fashion design challenge, selected from a record number of applicants! 👏👏👏 This year’s theme is TRANSFORMATION. Designers will create red carpet–ready looks from head-to-toe for their Community Role Models using upcycled garments and surplus materials. Quack-to-school style🦆🚌presented by @ameerahammouda_ and @sfdbos Together, womenswear brand, Ameera, and Boston’s School of Fashion design translated womenswear designs from Ameera’s latest collection, Ardelle, to one of Boston’s most famous landmarks, Make Way for Ducklings! Mama duck wears Ameera’s William Rugby Shirt, handmade by fashion design student, Mina Hirzel. Duckling Nack wears the Anu Puff Sleeve dress handmade by Dylan Braun. And the other ducklings stylishly sport the Salma Sweater Scarf. All pieces were made under the supervision of the School of Fashion Design professor, Lisa Taranto.
