Jr. High Day’s of Dance 2024 💙
BYU Department of Dance and UDEO/RDT put on excellent days full of learning and dancing for Jr. High age students.
We had the opportunity to attend both of these days this past February. Taking classes in modern, musical theater, technique, improv and learning to create dances.
Thank you!! @byudance @udeodance

🎉 Merde and toi toi toi to all of the performers and team at @byucdt for their premiere performance today of the restaging of "Opportunity"! The group of dancers diving into this heart-driven work brings so much heart and integrity into the work. Thank you for your dedication to "Opportunity"! Enjoy the journey dancers!

🌱 This work was originally commissioned and premiered by @byucdt for their 2018-2019 season with an original musical score by @jarom.hansen.music and has toured internationally throughout Europe and the US! During the creative process with the company, directed by @nathantbalser, we also created an internationally presented dance film in collaboration with @scott_cook789!

🏔 I was so glad to spend five days in Utah connecting with the dancers, friends, the mountains, the winter snow, and reigniting my sense of artistic value. Thank you immensely to all and shout out to @kate.monson.92 and @adamraydyer for bringing "Opportunity" back to the stage for your seasons and performances to come!
