PILLOW FORTRESS by @aysha_zackria opened last week at @qtkzoo hosted by @heirloomartsllc ⛺️🤸🏽‍♀️💕 my heart is bursting with love and pride for making queer art by queer artists, about the clumsiness and tenderness of accountability, relationship, and coming of age.

it's running through october 25! tix are pay what you want, linked in my bio 🫶🏽#lesbianslumberparty

aysha and i met at woolly mammoth theatre company as new work fellows and now we are two fellows creating new work.

behind the camera is @jorenceq who also designed the art for this show including the stunning playbill. jorence designed the art for my thesis directing project in 2021 so you know we had to run it back for this one

milan, lydia, and clare and the beautiful home that heirloom arts gave us!

Around 3 years ago, a few friends and I had an idea during our run of a community theatre show. That idea blossomed into a 32 minute episode filled with extremely talented and wonderful people from inside our community and out! We were united through our love of community theatre.

Since then we have filmed most of the second episode and launched a crowdfund campaign to help us film the rest of the season. We have learned so much and have had the opportunity to teach others as well! Please enjoy these behind the scenes pictures from the past three years! Thank you to everyone who helped make that little idea become so big.

Oh, and be sure to check out seedandspark.com/fund/thank-you-places. Give us a follow, and support us if you are interested!

Happy Trans Day of Visibility!!!
I spent an amazing weekend with my boyfriend visiting my family up north and I just need you to know how crazy I am about him.
Afterwards, on our way back down we joined my coworkers and some other Kalamazoo friends seeing Alok’s comedy tour which was galvanizing and restorative. Trans people have so much power and the reason they are trying to silence us and take our rights is because THEY KNOW IT

We moved to the stage… I can’t wait to share this with you. Please come, and tell your friends. 🪽🌈💕

Ps, me seeing even 1985 NYC set pieces is making my heart scream just a lil bit.

Winter Gala 2026 was so much fun!
Thank you to my amazing partner @c.watson9 for making it extra special 🥰
I’m so blessed to work with such an amazing team of people. Every day, I truly feel like this team is my second family.

Also, including the candid of me sitting down because those heels hurt like a mf

Part 2 of my Annie dump. This truly was a life changing experience. Every single moment on stage and off was fun and exciting and a blessing. I will never forget this company. Missing everyone just a little extra right now. “I’m sorry sir, but you just said orphan, so I chose a girl.” Wouldn’t want anyone else other than Charlotte Nickell to be my Annie to my Grace. “To Annie…Mudge!” ❤️🥰🥹
