Never ended up making a post about my @minecraft volume alpha record so here it is. The record itself is one of my favourites. it’s so unique and pretty I just love it. Sadly even though it’s brand new, it came with some weird scratchy sounds at the beginning of both sides of the album which is super disappointing(it does go away atleast) but I don’t think it ruins how awesome the record itself is. Words cannot describe how cool I think this record is, it’s so fantastic it’s so pretty. It’s just awesome thank you @c418 for making these songs and realising them on vinyl. And im hoping that you’ll release “life changing moments seem minor in pictures” on vinyl aswell as it’s another one of my favourite albums. 10/10 fantastic album, even better artist #vynilrecords #vynilcollection #minecraft #minecraftrecord #c418 @ghostly

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Alpha My friend Luigi gave our whole 7th grade class a pirated copy of minecraft from his flash drive. Every computer class through middle school subsequently turned into minecraft hour. My eight cousins moved in with us 8th grade. We all took turns playing on our sole minecraft account (rip megasamoan) literally all day long every day. Eventually my sister bought it on the Xbox. 4 player split screen was a game changer. 2020 found me and my friends playing 4-12 hours of minecraft a day. I have so many more stories, as I’m sure you do too. My point is that these songs are deeply rooted in relationships with people who are very important to me. I didn’t realize until I was like 17 - a year or two removed from my initial minecraft spurt - how beautiful this soundtrack is. Piano riffs and string swells mixed with bleep bloops that hit the right spots. Im so grateful for the vivid memories they still invoke to this day. Favorite Tracks: Subwoofer Lullaby, Haggstrom, Wet Hands, Cat Favorite moment: the second half of Subwoofer Lullaby
