🕊️🪱 DAYMARE 🛌 🥱

A xerox printed horror comics anthology made collectively by first year @ccacomics mfa students in my comics workshop 1 class (shoutout to @nicolejgeorges for letting me co-teach with her)

In response to the Winkie’s scene in Mulholland Drive students had to respond to the prompt of a “Daymare” in 4 pages. I shot this lil reel in snoqualmie which felt very fitting ☕️

Just wrapped up teaching a week-long intensive comics course at @ccacomics . Big shout out to these insightful, talented, and hardworking students for surviving my ambitions and reflecting back to me all the care I gave them. Thanks to our guest speakers @mirkdrop and #hamiltonnolan , our program creator @mattsilady , chair @mgillman , former chair @justinhallcomics and the rest of the @ccacomics faculty, as well as the past years of students who all shaped how I teach. I’m exhausted but inspired to get back to my own work now.
