A friend encouraged me this week to really open my eyes to the multitude of blessings in my life both large and small! And after this week, it is not lost on me, how even tiny, seemingly insignificant moments, are truly some of the biggest blessings of all!

So thankful! 🫶

Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday and a great week ahead!

Honky Tonk Weather Report for Friday, May 22nd, @emptybottle 🌈🤠🕊️

Well folks, you missed a truly pleasurable floor. It was giving maypole——subtle, orderly, and yet with a root of pagan chaos that reminded you of the first half of The Secret History, where they just enjoyed eating nice meals and mincing about, before they went full Bacchanal and killed that poor farmer.

The sound check featured a Steve Albini-inspired snare drum. Myles was late and Stevie had to start the singing, but you know, that’s why the @hoylebrothers are a BAND, okaaaaay? A band of what—-a band of brothers! Taking care of each other! Shouldn’t we all be so lucky!

The chess board was a little empty to startz But that meant there was room for everyone, and that feeling stayed. The torch was temporarily passed to teach at intermission; it was nearly 80% next gen established honky tonks, who keep showing up. Good choices.

Guys, it was birthday dance time for @cablegorl . And again, we don’t have to debate if the cuteness of the Hoyle Brothers Class of 2026, but we know who would be voted Class Sweetheart. How is someone 4/5 high femme and still approachable? It’s magic.

To close, I will share that I accidentally captured pocket view dancing, but gosh darn it, I love candid photography. And seeing…goof off between songs is the dance floor glue this pony needs.

See you Sunday at Martyrs 🌈🤠
